I liked this more than I thought I would. At first I was annoyed by the small field of view, but as the game progressed I started to enjoy it. In the end I had a kind of mental map of the game, which made it surpisingly doable to search for hidden corners I had not visited yet. It is a kind of maze game really. I also liked where the end was hidden! It was exactly where I thought it might be :D
The only criticism I can give is that the buzzing sound when you died was a bit jarring to me. Otherwise, really well done on this one!
I liked the trial and error aspect of the game, although I wish there was slightly more variation in the order you could collect the hearts. I also think the camera was a bit close but all in all a fun short puzzle!
i do think it would be helpful to see more of the map or show how much you can move at the moment, but 'ts a simple and fun idea
This was a good time! I liked how I slowly got to know the map better as the game progressed. Hearts that seemed impossible to collect before suddenly were, often from a direction I didn’t expect. The game ended at about the right time, I think, before the mechanic got stale. Nice work on this.
At first I thought this game was frustrating and very trial and error. But then I played more. I started learning the map and understanding where each heart was and how far I was from reaching it. And the process went from randomly randomly pressing buttons to exploring to find the best route to a certain point. It's a really interesting concept - a sort metroidvania snake game - I could easily see this extended into a larger game with powerup or walls you need to be a certain colour snake to eat through.
Nice work.
Very nice concept, the blocks you walk on reminds me of Minecraft Noteblocks :D
I sadly found the game a tad frustrating, why is the camera zoomed in so close?
