Interesting concept. I like the idea of having to restart in the middle of a fight with a wayward save state. I wish there was a description of abilities somewhere in the game though. Overall, really cool concept and I'd love to see more done with it after the jam!
I like it, but the screen is so big and I have had to move de screen to click W. mage actions
Nice game, think I got lucky and beat it on second try, but it would have been nice to see an explanation of what the different abilities did
Thanks! We are happy that you enjoyed it!
The idea behind not showing the skills and what they do was that you're already at an "end game" area and supposedly already know what the abilities do. So a core part of the loop would be trying and testing which of them do what, and figuring out when to best use them, however due to our time constraints it ended up being more vague than we originally intended.
Nostalgic!
Love the retro RPG flavor it has. Played for around 20 minutes without feeling bored or anything.
Thank you for the review! Very happy to know you enjoyed it :)
Love me a good RPG. Very reminiscent of the old SNES era Final Fantasy games.
Good variety of abilities. Having the mouse controls only was a little unusual. But for a 3 day jam, totally get the reasoning.
Nice work all around.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
We agree, keyboard controls would have been nice. We just couldnt seem to get around to it in time. :)
