Fun game! it broke my brain for a bit on the last level, but i ended up beating it! Unfortunately, I finished like 3 minutes after rating ended but you would have gotten: [creativity: 4, enjoyment: 5, narrative: 4, artwork: 3, audio: 4]
Cool game! Reminiscent of Flow for mobile hehe. The gameplay is 100% intuitive and the sound design effective. Well done!
Very nice and satisfying puzzle game. It's the kind of addictive game that just tempts you to play one more level with the promise of seeing more colored boxes neatly filled up. As it was already mentioned, it might not fit the theme the best and it was mostly due to lack of time to develope the idea further, but it's not detracting from the quality of the game's design. Really enjoyed it!
Great game, I really liked the concept, it's cool and satisfying to see :)
What a great one-stroke game! I like its gradually challenging difficulty curve and the elaborately crafted level mechanism. And the developer's comments on the levels are really to my taste! Guided visits are also very effective (which also inspired me). Good job!
It's just that I haven't had enough of the number of levels.
this was very satisfying to play! i think the level of difficulty was perfect and could definetly see this as a very addicting mobile game lol. great job!!
The puzzles are a little challenging but not hard, enough to make it fun! Didn't take too much time to complete all the puzzles, it's pretty fun. I love it!
Fun game! I can see how ours are similar at first glance, the movement feels pretty much identical, albeit at a different speed.
Pretty nice simple visuals and I like the background music
Nice game!
I love little narrative in this game, and puzzles was pretty enjoyable.
Good game
Really enjoyed the puzzle design! The loop concept was clear and well-executed, and I loved the satisfying sound feedback. That click noise is super addictive. I can see how the narrative ties in well with the loop idea, even if it’s subtle. Definitely one of my favorites so far! Looking forward to seeing where you take this if you continue development.
I found it challenging in just the right way, with good sound feedback. I just didn't quite understand how it fits the jam's theme.
Thanks!
I was hoping to put more time into the narrative of the game, where the player is “looping” back into the same room over and over again as part of the containment experiment (and also stuck in an infinite loop of trying to escape). But I ran out of time and even if I did polish that part, I realize it’s not a direct representation of the theme, so that’s totally a valid criticism.
Thank you for playing!
While it may not have the fanciest visuals, the puzzle design is top notch. Just hard enough to be head scratching, but not hard enough to be frustrating. Great puzzle design on display!
The levels were well designed, well done! :D
Thank you, I really appreciate it!
I loved this game. This is my favorite submission so far.
I hope you’re not just saying it’s your favourite because mine is the first game you’ve tried ;)
Thank you, either way!
I just really like the click noises every time you move. I spent a couple minutes just moving and listening to the sounds.
My nostalgic Club Penguin playing inner child freakin' adored the parallels between this game and Thin Ice. The portal work is SO clever. Difficulty progression and level design felt pretty spot on; I felt primed to tackle new challenges as I moved forward. Overall a very sound pathing puzzle game that feels accessible to gamers of all different backgrounds. I'll definitely be returning to play into further levels later!
Side note: The plinking noise moving from tile to tile is SO lovely. I could go back and forth just undoing and redoing moves all day to listen to that.
Nice shout out to Club Penguin. My favourite was sled racing. But it would be fun to add and design puzzles with slippery tiles, so I’ll add that to future ideas if I keep working on the game.
Thanks for playing and providing feedback!
Heck yeah, sled racing was a blast, too! And slippery tiles sounds dope! There were also thicker tiles you had to cross multiple times, if I remember correctly. Let me know if you do wind up adding any other tile types later; I'd love to give those a whirl. :)
i absolutely adore this game so much!! incredibly well designed levels with a very well made scaling difficulty. i really love the concept of it, and the sound design was super addicting to listen to haha. extremely well done!!
Thank you for playing, and thanks for the kind comments! There was a lot more I wanted to include and fix up, but as is common in game jams, I ran out of time :”)
haha totally get that!! i'd love to see how you develop this further (if you were planning on working on it more!!) the puzzles were all super fun and very addicting to play haha
