Did you use some kind of filter or something to make it look so good!?!? It's awesome I love the shadows and stuff very cool! Really enjoyed it nice work!

Also I'd appreciate feedback on my submission if you get a chance!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! i only used a row image renderer with a lower resolution to have that pixellated look, i think that the combination of the raw image and the outline renderer made that particular style that you said. Thank you very much, i will try your game as soon as I can today!

I like the idea. It remembers me to Mario Galaxy.

Related to the motion sickness, I think that you could implement the camera oriented in the same axis the world is rotating. I mean "rotate" 90 degrees

Developer

First of all thank you for the compliment, for the game i thought about Captain Toad Tresur Tracker but with the ability to jump, but it being compared to Mario Galaxy it's even better! Thank you for the idea of the camera! I didn't thought about that solution to be honest. Thanks again!

Hey, You can set the target operating system of the files in your project setup. If you do, people can play it from the itch app, which is a bit more safe environment than opening a random file from the internet :) You should be able to still set it now.

Developer

Hi! Thank you for the advice, I didn't know that I could build a game for webGL to be honest, I discovered it with this jam after I tried some other games, next time I will use it for sure but for this time I think that if I change something I'll loose my entry in the gmtk 2025, but after everything ends I'll change the page in my dashboard. Again, Thank you very much!

The player is REALLY slow, and the delay between pressing jump and the player actually jumping is very annoying

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! I hate the jumping delay too but i cound't do anything about it, for the speed of the character i didn't noticed it, but you're right! thank you!

Also, i assume this is your first game jam since i dont see any other submissions on your account, so i wanna clarify that even though i had issues with the game this is a pretty good result for a first game jam (and a 4 day jam at that)

Developer

Oh yea, this was my first game jam and i started game dev in april. Thank you!
