I like the creativity of this - could see a lot more different scenarios of different habits that you help people break.
In the dude's defense, he really did need to clean his nose :)

How does your game fit the theme?
As Steve Lacy once said - I pick my nose, it's a Bad Habit! Be the hero this world deserves, help a dude out by breaking his bad habit. (Habits are loops too) Game: You’re a "nosy" stranger on a train on a mission to help someone break their nose-picking habit. Your challenge? Stop them as many times as possible before the train stop, just 30 seconds away! Oh, and the dude also fakes it so don't be rude and stop him when he's NOT picking his nose.

I liked interpreting the loop as a habit, nice little concept. Great art as well!
I like how the fakeouts gives a little more depth, but there doesn't seem to be real penalty for touching the nose at the fakeouts. Maybe reduce the time left to penalize?
What a creative way to interpret loop! Should have made it into an exciting arcade game where he keeps doing different bad habits and you constantly clicking them (just like whack-a-mole) to extend the time bar and gain score. Really fun to play. My highscore is 6.
The idea of this game is very unique, a little too unique... 🥴
The artworks and visuals are very well done.
One suggestion I have (if you're looking to further develop the game post-jam) is that the game can have more minigames, or even a story mode. It can be about helping others, or even yourself as the player to break free from more bad habits.
All in all, great game, and keep up the good work!
i like the interpretation of the theme as a habit, something i haven't seen elsewhere in the jam! the graphics are very nice, i can tell a lot of effort went into them, easily the clear standout from the game. the gameplay itself is simple but i like that he jukes you out, adds a lot of depth to an otherwise one note mechanic. my only real criticism is the fact that he can go a long time without actually picking his nose, i think if you made this slightly more likely and maybe made it so you got more time every pick itd elevate the experience a bit and allow players to go for crazy high scores. overall though, this absolutely has the bones of a really great arcade game. good work!
very goofy idea!
I have a few recommendations:
- I saw someone suggesting other actions like scratching their head which could add variety
- I did get a run where they didnt pick their nose once, and a way to make it so that the randomness feels less unfair would be to have an array [0,0,0,0,1,1,1,1], and then you shuffle said array, and then you pick actions from it: 1 being picking their nose, 0 being a fakeout (ensuring that they always pick their nose the same number of times every run)
I enjoyed this! and i can see the potential to have more actions, and more things to do to prevent those actions.
Highscore of 5!
Goofy, this would cooler if he, like, went to scratch his head and similar stuff to juke you
One big issue is that you can just spam left click on the nose and you don’t lose points for it, also, weird that him just lifting his arm counts as picking the nose already
this feels like an original idea, the game is simple but fun :b
Pretty funny experience. I wish there was some more feedback for if I was getting it right. Great stuff.
Really nice polished short experience! really nice to play and just gross enough to be fun!
Short and sweet! The art is lovely, the play with the logo is amazing. Well done!
The artwork is honestly really good! And the story line LOL, it would be hillarious if the nose picking got more intense if you didnt stop it long enough! fun little game!
Simple and well polished. Loved the art (and the Steve Lacey reference). My only criticism is that it's a little repetitive after a while. Maybe add some different fake outs or bad habits? Good game!!
