Very confusing.  I liked the presentation.  I love tower defense style games!

A really nicely realised project for the time frame of the jam! The only problem I encountered was a lack of tutorialisation but I got the gameplay loop after a few tries :) The assets are polished and the VFX and voicovers really help sell the setting and retro styling, really good job!

Thank you very much for the feedback, mate. Deffo the tutorial is a great new asset, and you're damn right, the timeframe made things rushy as hell. But still, we're proud of it.

I think I have a bug. The shop only has the first 8 items and doesn't refresh if I wait or buy refreshes. Even if I buy the first 8 upgrades, my towers die quickly.

Developer(+1)

Hey hypotensor, that's by design; we meant to block the shop slots for each skill or upgrade you bought. I should have removed this constraint or improved the UI feedback to make this clearer. We’ll consider this change after the voting period is over. Thank you for playing. 👍

interesting concept.  Got a little confusing in the beginning.  nice visuals and sounds, i especially liked the voiceover.  it was very nostalgic for some reason.  maybe add a skip button for the intro text?

Good suggestion, we'll consider adding this after the voting period has finished. Thanks.
