Train pals! I just love how this little game can become both really challanging and addicting, but also super relaxing just watching your trains zoom around the tracks you created! Great job!

Simple concept but incredibly fun, love the cute art style and the sounds are perfect.

I don't have the brains for this atm but it's really cute and, of course, trains.

The game was fun. Placing tracks in advance and trying to keep everything running smoothly while the trains are moving was really enjoyable. I also liked the art, it added a nice charm to the experience.
If you have time, can you check out our game as well?

Was fun to figure the game out!

Nice work! Really cool that you made all the art yourself. I had a lot of fun while playing. Congratulations on submitting.

Fascinating gameplay loop, the game is more difficult than it initially looks!

Trains are fun, and setting up the tracks is satisfying. This is a great concept with potential to build on. Nicely done.

This was a very fun game once I got the hang of it.

The loop (no pun intended) was very satisfying, and once I got the strategy of expanding the railroad loop it feel into place. I love the mini motorways inspiration, and this could totally be expanded to be a full release.

Good luck in the jam :D

Fun game, great pixel art!

Cool conpect and awesome implementation of Loop theme! You are basically moving in loops. But i had an issue with the train and car disconnect, so i could make them drive away from each.

What a cute game! I loved the sprites and the mini roadways-esque gameplay. I definitely replayed a few times after I figured out what was going on to try and get a better score, which is the mark of a good gameplay loop.

I didn't quite understand what situations made a train + car disconnect, and it wasn't clear what caused new trains to become available. I definitely think you should expand upon this game! Would be even more fun with some more polish.

... I like trains ....
For real now, really fun game! Had some trouble at the beggining understanding the placements but after that I was having a ton of fun just creating tracks and seeing my trains go around, great job!

A great game that really makes you think and makes you happy when you get it right. Awesome.

very fun management game! it was hard to get used to at first, but the learning process of how to properly utilize your track layouts and junctions was fun in of itself! i love the chaos that ensues in longer runs when your constantly micro-managing everything, there were a lot of moments where i'd self sabotage my trains to quickly get a load and destroy itself just to keep a run going for a little longer! though i think the scaling can get a little too hectic too quickly. there were times i felt that i wasn't getting enough trains relative to the amount of houses that were spawning. not sure what the chance of getting a train is relative to getting tracks, but it would have been neat to differentiate the methods of gaining the two resources. for example, instead of getting trains by chance on load drop off, they could come in the form of a spawned one-time shipment where another train has to go out of their way to pick it up and deliver it back. you'd get rewarded by getting a new train but also risk leaving houses with loads unattended to while getting to that train shipment.

regardless, still had a ton of fun, the game offers a lot of tense and chaotic moments which made me feel really engaged while playing! congrats on the submission!

Very creative game! A few bugs that need ironing out, but that's life sometimes.  I would have preferred if clicking on a junction only cycled between active connections with adjacent tiles, so that I only needed to click to switch between them rather than have to register which track was up next after I clicked. The pixel art and sound is great. Seems like it should be simple at first, but after a few stations spawn it suddenly becomes very complex!

Had a ton of fun playing this !

It got a little frustrating since it felt like whether you get a train or tracks on the load is random (?) but it was really fun when I got a relatively deep run if I got a good start with a good balance of trains and tracks. Would love to play more of this!

Developer(+1)

It is random! Unfortunately.

I really wanted to do a pick-three mechanic but I had to overhaul the track laying mechanic since the original one wasn't very fun. I agree, its another thing (along with multiple rail types, like "permanent double crossing") that would enhance the game greatly.

AH I see ! Would be sick to play a more fully realized version of the game if this is the case !

Very cool idea. I feel like this could get fleshed out to a really fun management game.

I like the premise, but couldn’t get into the game. :( I’d need more time to plan out the tracks. Switching the junctions manually felt kinda overwhelming. There’s also a bug where the carriage disconnects from the train.

The game _desperately_ needs a pause.

The Game seems very well made and the art is solid. Did find one bug where if you delete the track under the train, it'll keep moving and go off the map, effectively meaning you have one less train for the entire duration of the round.

None the less, I did enjoy the game, though, maybe not too beginner friendly due to it's confusing nature, but once you get the hang of it, it's a blast. Would recommend! If you get a chance Rate My Game Here.

That's a new one! You just made me remember I considered that and had it in the back of my mind to clean up and prevent tiles underneath train engines from being recyclable :joy:

Glad you enjoyed it. I logged your bug in my tracker :)

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, luckily the bug is very unlikely to come by so it's not too much of an issue for now. By the way, just wanted to say it again, loved the game, Keep up the good work!
