How does your game fit the theme?
In traditional notation, rhythm is mapped linearly on a bar, marching steadily from left to right. But rhythm isn't only a linear experience—it can also be cyclical. Inspired by alternative rhythm visualizations like John Varney’s wheel method, this game treats each musical bar as a loop, a rotating circle of evenly spaced beats. Each beat becomes a point on the loop, creating a visual pattern that mirrors the physical sensation of rhythm, repetitive, pulsing, and circular. As the loop turns, players interact with beats in real time, discovering how rhythm can be felt not just as a measure, but as a motion.

Really cool idea and, but like the other comments say, when it get desynced it gets very difficult. Well done though!

as someone that has (no for this jam) tried to make a rhythm game with precisely timed repeating sounds. I empathise that getting the sounds synced up perfectly is HARD.

That being said, I can't ignore that after 40-50 seconds of the loop the beats were entirely out of time with one another.

But, very fun concept and outside of the syncing issues the game was executed excellently for having been made in just 4 days. Well done!

The flute part was wildly more difficult haha. Consider updating the game so the loops are seamless, it would be easier to keep track of when it gets more complex. Nice jamming!

Really clever idea :)

Very unique and interesting idea. It was pretty difficult to identify the beats especially for the last 2 levels, but otherwise very solid entry.

Cute and interesting puzzle game! It's a great way to learn about visualizing rhythm. Before this, I'd never heard of the wheel method so thank you for introducing it to me. I was slightly confused on the flute section because it seems like the flute part is more than one measure, but great work overall!
