How does your game fit the theme?
The Last Routine is built around the concept of a daily life loop — the player relives the same routine across several days, each revealing emotional, psychological, and existential changes. The loop is not just mechanical, but symbolic of time, habit, and reflection. Every day feels familiar, yet heavier.

Finally met a narrative game!

Very depressing atmosphere and cool narrative elements. But I would reduce the strength of chromatic aberration a little (my eyes hurt a bit).

I will be very glad if you play our game too! :)

Thanks a lot for playing! 🙏

Really appreciate the feedback—sorry for your eyes 😅 I actually used very little chromatic aberration, but yeah, the RGB shift was done through a custom shader. I’ll definitely try to tweak it and make it gentler. And yes, I’ll for sure check out your game too! Looking forward to it :)

Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up —

The mouse sensitivity issue was completely unintentional! I totally planned to add a sensitivity slider, but with just 1.5 days and a lot to handle, I ran out of time. I’m aware it feels way too fast on some setups (especially high-DPI mice), and I’ll definitely fix that in a post-jam update. Thanks for your patience!

Also, about the suspicious download warning — that’s just Itch being overly cautious with zipped Unity builds. There’s nothing harmful in there, and I understand how that might’ve scared off some players. I’ll try to find a better packaging method next time.

Appreciate everyone who took the time to play! 🙏

All in all I quite enjoyed it! Gosh the narrative was gut wrenching. The way the camera was always looking at your feet when starting each scene felt too fitting not to be on purpose.

It bugged out before I quite reached the end, and the sensitivity was inconsistent between the interface and the camera. But such is a jam game :P

Developer(+1)

Hey! Thanks a ton for checking it out — I’m really glad the narrative landed with you, that means a lot. And yeah, the downward camera angle at the start of each scene was actually a last-minute decision, but I’m happy it felt intentional!

Sorry about the bug and sensitivity weirdness — I definitely ran out of time to fine-tune those things (classic jam crunch 😅). Hopefully I’ll get to polish all that in a post-jam update. Appreciate your feedback!

This is some fantastic work. From the start I felt the want to play through the entire game, and I did. I fear not many will play this game because it was behind a suspicious download warning.

My biggest piece of feedback would probably be a sensitivity slider as moving my mouse even a couple of centimeters would cause the entire screen to rotate and maybe have the age of the character show at the bottom after the in between text but before the player takes control. Overall, good job though! - Kaylee

Hey Kaylee, thank you so much for playing and for the thoughtful feedback! I completely agree about the sensitivity — I actually planned to add a slider, but I ran out of time during the jam and had to prioritize finishing the core gameplay. Definitely something I’ll be adding in future builds, along with your other suggestion about showing the character’s age more clearly.

Really appreciate you pushing through the download warning too — that means a lot. Thanks again! 😊
