Loved the atmosphere of this game, the art and audio were both fantastic! It's also nice to see a point-and-click in a jam game. One small detail that made a huge difference was the names on the wall of the cell, it added a lot of character and I always stopped to read the name of the person I had just gotten killed. I managed to beat the game with 11 deaths!

My only nitpick would be what others have already said, it would have been great if there were even more persistent elements since you do end up going through the loop so many times. The button that opens the first door would have been a great one to keep permanent! Overall though, this was one of my favorites so far, fantastic job!

The artwork and atmosphere are really great! I think more changes should have been permanent, though. It seems kind of random how the bars and drawers in the cell will stay open, but the door and trap are always reset.

Ooh neat a looping escape room! This was pretty fun and the jumpscares actually got me. Only complaint is that the beginning got a little repetitive after a few loops, I probably would have preferred if even more things stayed solved (e. g. the door in the second room).

I'm not smart enough :'( But the art and atmosphere are awesome and I will come back to it. I can't just keep washing cheese down the sink and hoping something different will happen, I need to get to rating more games. This one is awesome though.

What an interesting spin on the point-an-click genre. I always loved the genre and I'm sad that it became relatively unpopular in the 2000s but this might be a cool way to bring it back. As someone else said, some QOL for tracing back  steps would be awesome. Sadly I got stuck at the scissor part

Really impressive. The graphics, the atmosphere, the sound design. Really well done in such a short time. I'm having a bit of trouble getting past the hallway though.

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! See if you have something with a long reach you can use in the hallway :)

I got past the arrow trap, but I'm not sure where to go from there.

Developer

Ah, if you go up you can enter the bathroom on the left :)

Okay, so I am supposed to enter the bathroom. I thought I would always get ambushed.

12 died before I could escape!

An absolutely sublime game! And a really good point and click game with some really original ideas. Bravo !

Great game! Had the same vibes as when i was playing Uninvited in my childhood! Definitely got spooked once or twice!

Wow I'm really impressed what you managed to do in 4 days. A point and click game with really beautiful graphics. Also a fun twist on the theme although I didn't get it at first. I think this might just end up in the video.

Great game! Audio and atmosphere are top notch.

New names on the wall appearing on every death is a lovely little mechanic and a great in game explanation for the loop.

Impressive level of polish for a jam game!

I loved it! Kinda reminds me of Fear and Hunger in term of so many ways to die :D you know how to keep a player invested in the game!  Also loved the idea of new names appearing on the wall after every dead. Plus the artwork is incredible!

The game's atmosphere is incredile !! I loved the writing and the horror elements - and died more times that I'd like to admit

The names on the wall are a really nice touch and I love the lore implications, great job guys !

I commented on the wrong screen! But I'll just reiterate - amazing game, incredible art and I love the atmosphere that the team has created! Good job all round!

Nice take on the theme. I like the explanation of why you can keep trying and why some things persist.

Maybe I’m stupid but I can’t figure out how to get past the tripwire in the hallway. This is a great concept for a game! I love the little persistent things between runs. Nice job!

Edit: nvm, I was indeed stupid

Try one of the items that has the longest reach. I believe in you :)

Thanks for checking it out!

Haha whoops. For some reason I thought I had already tried that and it didn’t work. Success! Nice work, this is a satisfying escape room puzzle.
