This is a really immersive game, I can def feel how everything fits the theme!

Great game! It’d be awesome to have more opponents to challenge.

Really interesting concept, played many times to really get the hang of it. Art is really good, music plays well with the game.

Loved that you need to spend energy on each draw, that give a lot of strategic feel and it's something I had not seen before so felt really refreshing.
However it feels too random, many times I won just because got to draw a powerful card on the first round and the enemy didn't defend it (the stronger on even rounds) - 3 rounds of that and you win without much thinking.
I would love to see this game with the possibility to build a deck and picking your cards to win before certain amount of loops for example.

Won on loop 3 but as an Inscryption fan I wanted more of this. I'm torn on how I feel about drawing having a cost honestly. It's unusual but potentially interesting. Great entry.

Great game , good visuals and engaging sound design.

Just needed an how to play or tutorial level  as it may be hard for a normal person who doesn't play much games to understand what to do other than that amazing game

This was very fun and really well done! I really like how you start off very weak but as you play your cards, you become stronger and stronger. It really fits well into the theme of the jam and I love the overall ambience of the game as well! I almost got lucky and won on the 2nd loop but I managed to clutch it out in the 3rd one. I can totally see this game expanding in the future to have more cards and mechanics. Well done!

Well that was something, beat it in one loop by accident. Love the art style and I think the gameplay is alright

Not a bad entry just think it could use a bit more content and polish.

Neat! The one thing I'm not a fan of is requiring energy to draw AND place your tokens. Beat the game in 6 loops :)

I really like the concept. Getting my arse whooped but slowly getting stronger each loop was fun. Really seeing the tide turn when I had both the twins deployed was also a cool moment. I like the dingy kind of ambiguous setting, the music pairs nicely with it. Good job!

the gameplay and artwork is amazing, how did you do the color quantizing on the sprites?
