Solid fun gameplay and visuals. Any mistakes are of my own doing, not the controls, which is awesome. Gave me Meatboy vibes!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the compliments on the controls and for playing

Really interesting take on the theme — using the music loop as the trigger for gameplay resets is a clever idea. I enjoyed how each loop reveals something new, keeping the experience fresh and engaging.

If you have time, we'd love for you to check out our game too!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind words about the game's idea! I'm going to play L.E.A.V.E right now!

Your game looks good, but next time add at least some instructions to your games page for the controls. Having Z as jump is wierd, why not space? On my hungarian keyboard the Z is actually next to T so the controls were so wierd.

Developer

Thank you for the compliments, and I sincerely apologize for the command layout. The controls are listed in the game’s menu, and it’s also possible to use WASD with K to jump and L to dash. But you're absolutely right, that kind of information should have been on the game page.

Nice art! Some of the jumps felt too tight (probably half my deaths was on walljump section with a singular spike at the top right) but I did get to the end
bait used to be belie- holy shit is that v1 ultrakill

Developer

Thanks for the compliments! The game's artist was obsessed with Ultrakill around the time of the Jam (and is probably playing it right now, to be honest).

I enjoyed the game a lot! really cool jam game

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Very nice! I love the art and music. I had a bit of trouble with a few jumps at first, very tight but the movement felt really fluid, great job :DDDD

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the compliments on the controls and for playing!

Cool game.  Some of the jumps are really unforgiving!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

really nice art and music, although I could only reach the first disk, kept dying in the wall jump sections

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the compliments on the art and music! It’s a shame you couldn’t get too far in the game, but I hope you still had a good experience nonetheless.

Submitted(+1)

yeahhh, just not very good at this, nice game though still!

Loved it! Pretty solid I'd say. Keep it up! I playted about 20 mins, couldn't end it, but as a plataformer player, and an ULTRAKILL fan, I like the aesthetics and playability. Would buy a polished version

(+2)

Maybe the guy in charge of the art played  about 90 hours of ULTRAKILL in the last month... Thank you for your reply, we're glad you enjoyed it!

(+2)

Oh yeah, I know how it feels. Good luck!

Nice pixel art ! A bit too hard for me, I wish I could find some checkpoint to avoid redoing everything... Congrats for this !

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the compliments on the pixel art! I'm reviewing the level design and I agree it could have been a bit easier. Anyway, thanks for playing!

its a bit annoying having to restart and it actually did take me a few seconds to figure out that the player presses Z to jump, still a cool game that looks and sounds cool and is cool, you are cool

Developer

Thanks for playing, my friend. You're really cool

cool

It's like my game, but a platformer! Really love the vibes here tho. Enjoyed the lil playthrough I had. My only gripe with the game is that I wish the cutscene after you died played a little faster. Or at least had an option to skip.

Developer(+1)

I’ll definitely play Yet Again. Thanks for playing our game and for the review

Submitted(+1)

thx, I really appreciate it

Though it's definitely a bit difficult, it's actually quite a welcome challenge when considering the controls are quite simple and easy to grasp. I think the one true issue I have is that it's a bit hard to know where to go sometimes, since there's a lack of indication on where the next interest point is. Aside from that, shockingly well polished and delightfully fun platformer!

Developer

Thanks for playing, my friend! I'm glad you liked the controls

This game is hard as nails, but in a fair way! The controls are snappy and responsive and there's a tasteful amount of coyote time - such a solid platformer. I was reminded of Path of Pain from Hollow Knight, which might sound unpleasant, but is a compliment!

Developer

You're not the only one who compared it to the Path of Pain, which honestly surprised me. I just hope you didn't suffer in my game as much as I did in that part of Hollow Knight. I'm really grateful for the compliments on the controls, I love platformers and wanted to make sure the character felt great to control. Thanks for playing!

I’ve put about an hour into this game and died around 60 times already and I can honestly say it feels like reliving the first time I booted up Hollow Knight.

The art is stunning, the music is incredible, and the controls feel smooth. Its finally one of those games where the challenge is real you actually have to work for progress, and it’s incredibly rewarding.

The feeling I got when unlocking the dash was like getting the one thing I wished for at Christmas.

8/10. Would definitely recommend.

Developer

It’s an honor to have a game I made compared to Hollow Knight. I'm truly grateful for the compliments and I hope you didn’t get too frustrated with some of the deaths. Thank you so much for playing our game!

This game is in the top 5 for me so far, the mechanics are really cool, the way of learning new abilities like the wall jump to be able to reach higher places in the next loop is really great. The art looks awesome as well and the death animation is pretty cool

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words, my friend, especially for considering it a top 5! You were the first to review our game, and that means a lot to me. I’ll definitely play your game and leave a review as well. Thanks again!
