How does your game fit the theme?
My game focused on the looping of the tide. Increasing and lowering difficulty with the constant loop of the tides.

Cute game! The gameplay loop was simple and I liked the narrative. I think the game would be more engaging if there were enemies such as birds that were also trying to attack you. Nice work overall!

I love your interpretation of loop being the looping of the tides. I ran into a couple of bugs while playing. I couldn't get the endless mode or the try again button to work. Overall I thought your game was super cool!

Nice simple game & very cute art!

A nice and cute little game. The tide is too sudden sometimes and it's a bit annoying to go through the starting bit trying to restart, but that's how jam games go. Congratulations on actually finishing and submitting.

A cute little crab and a nice start screen animation! The hunger bar decreases quite fast though. Unfortunately the game stopped working after clicking "Try Again".  Otherwise a fun game!

Cute and clean art :-) Big bonus for having time for a proper tutorial. Congrats on the jam entry!

Very adorable! And great idea to include an endless mode, good use of dev time!

Got some suggestions if this proyect is to be polished:

- Figuring out some sort of signaling to the player to the state of the tide, it's interesting to just find out but would be fun to be able to play more eficiently with better information.

- If there is different scoring between elements I can carry to my lair it would be good to have that denoted somehow.

Amazing game, The crab sprite is so cute😂🙌. The sounds are amazing. I don't know why the game stopped after I restarted. but the visuals are great. Keep it up

A fun little game.  The loop of the tides was a nice interpretation of the theme and made for a nice ebb and flow in the game play.  Really nice animations and soundeffects on the cute little crab. Having the hunger meeting decrease a bit slower at the start would give the player a bit more to explore and get used to the mechanics. A really nice submission and a strong foundation for a fun surival game.

Had a lot of fun with the game, I even managed to push past my hatred of crabs.

The little wave the crab did at the beginning was fantastic. The hunger meter seems to go down a little too quick in the beginning. You might consider spawning more food closer to the shore early on to let the player get a bit more comfortable and slowly ramp up the difficulty once they're hooked. Really nice concept, and well executed!

Very cool art, the crab is very cute. Very challenging to predict the tide, very fun!

I love this little crab :)
Since I need to wait for the tides most of the time it can be very unlucky if I just have to wait and let the hunger meter go down, but otherwise very enjoyable and very good vibes!

I really like this interpretation of the theme. The game is simple but enjoyable, though sometimes having the food appear at the bottom feels unfair as it is risky to get and safety is not guaranteed. The narrative, though simple, is effective and the art is very very cute. Audio was good too.

My final rating: 4, 4, 5, 5, 4

The art is so cute! It's fun to play and got scared (in a good way) when walking down and seeing the wave go up XD

I really like the transitions with the waves bringing elements in and the crab peaking out. I think I died during the tutorial and the game got stuck.

Sorry about that, I added a last-minute transition and didn’t have enough time to iron out all the bugs. Thanks for playing though, this was really fun to join.

It's fun! Definitely a creative idea of scavenging based off of what the ocean is doing! I love the cute crab too!
