The concept is fantastic, but just like someone else said the implementation is kinda lacking. Also as a design tip, usually making "bad" colliders (or anything that size can influence in gameplay) smaller feels better and more "fair". For example I really had trouble with the spikes from the second level, sometimes killing me even when visibly not touching. As of rule of thumb try making damaging colliders smaller than the graphics (also works in the opposite way, make "good" colliders bigger than they really show, like collecting stuff)
great tip thank you
pretty neat concept but I couldnt even finish the first level as it felt like my inputs weren't being played back correctly?
thanks and yeah the maybe a bit buggy
I think it's a really creative take on the theme, good job!
thanks
You got a very good idea and concept, but ultimately failed to implement it correctly. Either I'm not understanding something, or the background elements of the second level don't actually match with what you encounter after the moveloop, there are some spikes that weren't there before. Also, you should try to avoid long empty spaces in your levels, they are quite boring to get through.
If you do want to expand upon this idea, go ahead, I believe this has a lot of potential, but in its current state it's really hard to play
I agree with you I could have made this better
Don't get discouraged tho! Take this as a learning opportunity and expand upon the game!
thnak you
It was quite confusing what the game was and how the looping of the player moves worked, so I couldn't finish the second level. The gravity was very extreme, but the camera was pretty good.
If the idea was executed better it could be a cool and fun game.
thanks for trying
