What a gorgeous You Lose Screen :)

Strange and funny!

Good job!

Great visuals, and the audio all worked well together. I found the controls to be a bit slippery and not quite tight enough for a bullet hell. But had a good time regardless. Nice work!

I like the title art quite a bit and the rest of it is fine as well, though I personally didn't like the foreground as much as the rest of it. You've already had this said a couple of times, but yeah - it's certainly an interesting interpretation, but not really that fitting to the theme. At least you have the background rotating around so that's something. Generally, not a bad game jam entry besides the fact the it stretches the definition of fitting the theme quite hard :)

Difficult bullet hell. I like the pun of the game's premise and the art is quite good. I don't know that it fits the theme very closely, but it is still pretty creative and well executed.

Wow this was great. Very difficult little bullet hell (though, I've been playing harder, so I nearly got to the end on a first attempt, lmao)  with a creative spin on the theme. I love the mixed art styles and weaving in how The Flight of the Bumblebee keeps accelerating into how the game keeps ramping in difficulty.

The only issue I've had was that the drumsticks don't really have a strong "tell" unlike the wind instruments, but otherwise it's an outstanding game.

Wow that was punishing, thank goodness for god mode!

I recommend more feedback from when you are hit, I didn't notice the hearts disappearing at first.

The presentation was slick, the audio was nice, it's a good entry even though it isn't my typical jam.

I loved the graphics

Nice job! It starts getting so hard! Amazing art:)

Haha yes! That poor bee. Really fun escalation. Loved the mix of 2D/3D art. Nice one!

Very cohesive!  I super-appreciate the addition of "god mode", for those of us trying to see and rate as many games as possible and just want to take a tour.  I will be stealing that idea for future jams  :D

Great song to up the tension and great art in general. It think it doesnt fullfil the jam theme but the game itself rocks!

Thank you for the compliments and feedback, it is all appreciated! I agree the theme had slipped into more obscure territory throughout development, leaving aspects that are not as apparent outside of the development team. (Looping code, looping music, looping animations, and the level taking place flying around the room)

Luckily, this is something that is easier for us to address and work on for the next jam or game we develop. Thank you for helping us make better games in the future!

that was fun haha. reminded me of the best parts of cuphead. The sound effects and art are super cute. would have loved to see it fit the theme better, but the game itself is great

Thank you for taking the time to play our game and give a review. I agree that the jam theme didn't end up coming through as much as we would of liked but we are still happy to have released a "completed" game. Over the course of development some of the stronger loop themes were watered down without us noticing until the game was complete.

Some of the bigger level inspiration was the Kirby Super Star boss fight: Nova Core, where kirby was circling the boss, flying around the room. We tried to take that idea and combine it with a looping song to drive home the idea of looping but I think it fell short in readability.

Thank you again, your feedback will help us make better games in the future!
