its a cool idea. i will say the music gave me a headache, and combat felt too hard for all the phases, but i still had fun

Love the polish on this, the animations and effects are awesome. It kinda captures some childhood feelings of saturday cartoon monster donking it out! Sadly I found some enemy sounds to be repetetive and hard on the ears but other than that solid game!

It's a very good game. As the character grows larger, it becomes cumbersome. The number of monsters I can attack seems insufficient. It is recommended to increase the number or quality of monsters over time
Its a fun game and the artwork is amazign! I liked the music but at a certain point I heard when the loop stopped and started again and I couldnt unhear it lol, still the fact that you made your own music is super impressive on its own!
The idea of evolution that regress at the end is funny, just a little sad that when you reach last stage the game becomes easy after :(

Quite lovely! I was already intrigued by the title, since Schlonk just has a ring to it :D The sprites and artwork are super nice, especially the characters/monsters. Something didn't feel 100% cohesive with the ground texture, but I'm not quite sure what it was. Music/Sounds in themself were also great, maybe the music just needed a bit more of variety, since the intensity was pretty high all of the time. Gameplay was very enjoyable and easy to grasp, just the enemy hitboxes felt quite finicky sometimes, especially while using the tongue attacks.
All in all really impressive! Great job!

I can’t personally speak for the hit boxes (I was the sound/animation guy) but I’ll pass your compliments about the monsters/art on to our artist (he has an itch page but I haven’t been able to add him as an admin yet 😅)! Really happy you enjoyed it though - I’ll take responsibility for the music hahah, made it on the last day so it was a little rushed unfortunately - glad to hear the sound effects were enjoyed too, they were a lot of fun to make! :) Thanks again!

Fun little arcade game! And great visuals. I like that you can reset your progress if you take too much damage but you still try and fight back

I shlonked it so much. The two oldest shlonks are very fun to control! I especially like the 2nd shlonk's attacks
