Nice little game! Nice touch with the slow-mo to help control the aim on launch.
The Slow Mo was actually a glitch turned feature. I won't bore you with specifics but holding it down for long actually increases your speed to about 10 times the speed cap due to some oversights with how Godot manages joints and vectors during Slow Mo. I do intend on making this a required mechanic for harder levels, but right now feel free to go really fast.
Thanks for playing and I'm always for feedback even after the jam ends.
I love the interpretation of the theme as planetary orbits!
I think one thing that could make the controls more intuitive is if the red and green axes reoriented themselves to be perpendicular to the centripetal force when you enter a new orbit. I ran in into some issues where I had trouble controlling my planet if the velocity got too closely aligned with gravity.
I do not want to remove the difficulty of having to plan your jumps between planets but i understand the struggle. Maybe they could be two separate modes like Momentum mode (the planet auto corrects itself) and Precision mode(the planet does not auto correct itself)
Thanks for the review as I plan to expand on this game in the future.
Fun game about launching from planet to planet. Controls where a bit complex to figure out but after i got the hang of it it was fun to play.
This is a very fun game! I expect to see more levels!
There might be soon. Plus more complex mechanics and a checkpoint system for longer levels.
I like it!
