How does your game fit the theme?
This is a clicker/idle game where you have to keep a fire forever. You have to keep spinning a wheel (loop) to provide air to the fire. You will repeat actions until you get all achievements.

Fun game and lovely artwork :3

The game is really beautiful and engaging. Making it a click-based game added a special charm to it.

Simple, effective, entertaining, I love it. I hope there will be a mobile version.

What a beautiful game. I didn't know about this myth, I love findig out new ones from different cultures. The concept reminded me a bit of the movie from Pixar... Elemental I think. The game was very fun as well and I feel like this particular legend fits an idle game so so so well. A truly unique and great concept, and a nice spin on a classic idea. Congrats!

Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm glad you liked the story touch and game idea!

Beautiful game, reminds me of Calcifer (if you've watched Howl's moving castle :D )

It feels like purchasing firewood capacity doesn't have any real effect though so that parameter might need to be looked at again (or maybe I missed something)

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Glad you liked it! Yes Calcifer is a clear inspiration :)
Firewood capacity allow to stack more than 5 woods. I will clarify this in a later version of the game, thanks.

Had a good time with this! Everything wood, and wheel mechanically work perfectly, the majority of upgrades make sense, UI layout is neat, animations make sense (loving the timer, and the random face on the fire!), and the little bit of narrative from the achievements are a nice touch.

Never felt the need to buy click power, wheel durability, or firewood capacity. Maybe have the wheel take more effort to turn over time:
1. For click power, maybe have the wheel require more effort over time.
2. For wheel durability, maybe have the wheel wear over time, if the wheel breaks, game over or buy a new wheel.
3. Instead of firewood capacity, maybe auto firewood generation.

Achievements is spelt incorrectly at the bottom. Inconsistent casing in upgrades and statistics sections (majority of words start with a capital letter but not all of them. Game gets slightly dull when both infinite upgrades are bought:
a. Instead of infinite wood, infinite firewood would keep the player clicking the wood rather than watching.
OR
b. Random narrative events which disable the infinite upgrade temporarily so the player needs to keep an eye out.

Audio would have been great, especially a fireplace.

Overall, great game!

Thank you very much for your very detail feedback.
Yes I agree with your suggestions. I didn't take enough time on balancing game parameters. Maybe in a future version :)

Submitted(+1)

Hello! Great balancing on the game, keeping the fire alive does not require super fast movements but you never can break concentration. The graphics of the room are nice and the story checkpoints are good motivation to keep going.  Did not understand what the wheel durability stat was for. Congrats on submitting!

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback. Happy you liked the game.

Wheel durability is to improve the inertia, I will reword it :)

Hi! It is an awesome entry for a first game! You should be really proud of yourself!

The game is fun, pretty hard (my biggest success is day 16) and looks very nice!

It's such a nice touch to add a real Armenian deity and some cultural/ethnic details. Very cool

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your feedback and thanks for noticing about the Armenian  cultural details.

Was this your first game?? It was awesome! Absolutely loved the art :D my hand may hurt a little right now but it was worth it ahaha

Developer

Thank you very much for your comment! Yes it was my first "finished" game even if I already have done some little prototype before.
I'm glad you liked the art and the game experience!

Very cute game. I had fun until day 30 then it felt super repetitive. Music/audio would have really helped the vibe and maybe a new mechanic being introduced after day 30?

The art is really nice, definitely getting pixel Ghibli vibes :)

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for your feedback! Yes I agree with all what you said. It was my first game and I was running out of time to add extra mechanic and sound design.
