How does your game fit the theme?
The game makes you deliver packages after packages in a circle. Endlessly. So, that's a loop ! And you even have the possibility to break the loop, cool, uh ?

I liked your idea, pretty original with a kinda funny narrative to accompany it and really good lightning effects. But yeah, I do agree with the other commenters that the gun is pretty useless. Also, and this is more kinda my pc's fault, but the game started to lag for me after some night/day cycles, I guess because there were way too many zombies on screen. I still enjoyed though, good game
Really good game, thanks for your idea
Great job with the car movement, was really fun to weave between the horde. I felt like the gun was pretty useless though, as the amount of damage mitigated by shooting a zombie that you were going to collide with didn't seem worth the power cost of shooting, even with a few efficiency upgrades. Not to mention the zombies were so hard to hit consistently enough to get rid of them before you just zoomed past/through them anyway. I think having the gun be a bit more powerful from the start, as well as separating damage into it's own resource track would help incentivize using it to pick off zeds that are in your path and create little gaps to dry and squeeze through. I had a fun time just driving around though, good job!
Thank you ! Yeah, the balance is not the greatest but that's the job for future me for this game, hehehe
I would have liked a bit more variety to your route and for the gun to be a bit easier to wield. That being said, I liked the idea and loop while trying to balance choosing between hitting zombies and risk driving on the grass in an effort to maintain your speed.
This game is really satisfying, I spent much longer than expected playing it! I love the pixel art car, and the light and shadows with the day/night cycle is really well done. I spent so long playing the game in fact that I found a bug. If you upgrade the energy efficiency of your weapon enough, at night time when you shoot you gain battery and can gain above the max amount. The charge above the cap instantly goes away when the day starts and you can only gain the extra at night.
My one piece of advice would be to increase the sound variety for the gunshots and zombies dying. When a common action is going to be repeated often, I try to have 2 or 3 different variations of the effect play at random. However even if you only have one a nice trick to increase variety is to slightly modify the pitch by a random amount, most tools will let you do this! I like to start at .95 - 1.05 of the pitch and see how that feels for the particular effect and adjust from there. The slight variation helps the player not notice it's the same one or few sounds over and over again and makes the game feel a lot better even if they don't notice it consciously.
Excellent job!

Thank you for the bug detection and advice !
I did try to randomize the pitch, but my audio acted really weird because of the framework that I use. So I've let that be and used my time polishing other aspect of the game :D
A very complete-feeling jam entry! Very satisfying to gradually upgrade your car, and the day/night cycle turns the power management into a far more interesting mechanic than it would've been otherwise!
One of my favorites games so far in terms of art direction and atmosphere, you managed to achieve so much with so little, it’s really cool. Very catchy concept too. Well done!
It's crazy how dynamic lightning can do wonder sometimes, thank you !
love the atmosphere during the night!
Congrats on being featured on stream, I did very similar shoot/drive gameplay for my entry!
I love the inclusion of day/night cycle, upgrade progression, and zombies.
Music and sounds were great, aesthetic was clean and readable.
While the simple loop certainly fit the theme, I recommend more locations/missions for some driving variety.
I had fun, great job!
You really have a similar game to me ! I like how you tied the gun to the car direction. Also you have AI for the opponents, that's a crazy feat to have for a gamejam, my zombie are, well, brainless :D
I played again and finally found the boss, can't believe I missed that the first time!
I deliberatly hid this information to the player so they start to ask themselves "Why am I in this eternal loop again ?" and try other things. There's also a super secret ending : spoiler spoiler spoiler where you can destroy a factory but they have a lot of health so it's long and I'm guessing nobody tried that
Cool and funny, well done!
Took a while to grind all the power-ups. But it's a fun experience
Congratz ! There's now world peace thanks to you !
Cool concept! I like how the game traps you in a delivery cycle — it’s simple, but it builds a strong sense of routine and tension. Nicely done!
This is pretty cool, but also proving how bad I am at multitasking. My aim is apparently terrible when I'm also trying to drive
A chance that your car can run over zombies quite easily !
Like the whole atmosphere and vibe this game has :D
