Wow that's a really cool interpretation of the theme!
I always enjoy a good detective game, and wasn't expecting one! The format was really good, and it felt satisfying to guess which contact I had to transfer a message to. I want to see more!
I guess I didn't really get the end though, too much was happening at once haha
I really loved this one, top marks from me, well done!
Thank you! We had to tone down the gameplay complexity so that the game wouldn't be a complete mess, but I'm also curious to see where it would go if we polished it out and leveled up some challenges and narratives!
Thanks again!!
SUCH A COOL IDEA!
I really like the game idea, the visuals, the plot. Unfortunately, the game stopped working for me at the Charlie's part (black screen, unresponsive, after I quitted the fullscreen, I couldn't get back), but I'm thinking of downloadnig it and trying one more time!
You did an amazing job here
THANKS!
You don't have to download it, it's normal, the game is supposed to end there! xD On windows it will just close the app, but on web it just freezes, so... Don't worry xD
Hey I saw your submussion on Mark's stream and I wanted to give it a go for myself because I feel like he didn't give it enough time which is fair enough for the man who has to get through 10k games xD
I really enjoyed this! I played it all the way through until the screen went dark. Felt a bit spooky at the end there xD I feel like this has a lot of potential and you could definitely take it in some interesting directions. Could quite easily turn this into a horror game even
Awesome!
Yeah I just saw him play the game, and I was like "fair" on everything he said and everywhere he got confused x)
But indeed I never realized the spooky potential with the game's ending before other people started playing it, and I bet there's something to dig there :D
Thanks for playing!
Hey! I've just seen your game on Mark's stream. We went with the same interpretation for the theme! I'm glad to see another game exploring the same idea in a different way, I haven't seen it from others so far.
Cheers!
Thanks! Yeah I went to play your game, it's really cool :D It's always fun to see puzzle games that force you to understand what you're reading to continue! Workplace detective time >:)
Hope you're proud of your game! (you should) :D
Very cool game, I spend quite a lot of time reading everything, loved it!
Thank youu!
It's really nice to take the time, happy to know that you enjoyed it :D!
very creative concept and a unique take I haven't seen any other games do for this jam. Well done! :)
Thanks thanks thank!
It was risky to go in the detective/narrative direction, but I think it paid off! Thank you for your time :D
This is such a creative take on the theme.
I really enjoyed it. There is a TON of reading involved lol. But i think that comes with the theme itself.
The controls feel great. The music doesnt get annoying. Overall a great job!
Thanks! Yeah, the game's fatal flaw is reading, I think with more time it could be improved properly!
Really good work with the story! I think its hard to make a story heavy game in short format but this one was really well done. I also enjoyed the detective-like music, on point.
Yeah... It could have easily grown in a monstrous branching multi-path narrative, but that would probably have killed us xD
The need to sleep and live made for a better & simpler game overall :D
One of the more creative takes on the theme.
Thank you, it was a scary one to do T-T
Very unique and cool idea. Also very well made. A lot of thought went into this you can see.
The thing is I cannot really wrap my head around the setting. Why would the player be the messanger of digital and private messages? While playing I thought this gameplay would really fit for example a medival messanger that needs to decipher letters and bring them to the right kingdom or something.
But thats just me!:D
Enjoyed it nonetheless!
Oh god...
That's such a freaking cool idea xDD
Writing might be different... hmm Idk but there might be some potential to this :D
That's is such a creative approach to the theme, but I don't know why but I got stuck after the second transfer I really couldn't find these messages belong to. But the visuals and controls are really simple and clear. Great job 🙌
Aaaah yes, the code is messy, hence sometimes you can get softlock :/
And the writing could have a better onboarding xD
Thanks for playing nonetheless!
Wow, this was super creative, and y'all did a great job giving everyone their own personality. Great narrative design and the UI was really well done! A very unique approach to the game jam!
Awesome, thanks! We're happy we stuck with this idea :D
Very interesting and fun idea!
Thanks thanks :)
I loved detective games, neat
Thanks a lot! First time trying to make one...
It was scary xD
the idea is out of the box
7.5/10
:3
(rate my game if you are not busy)
Thank you! We tried our best :)
I'll play your game when I'm free today!!
Nice unique take on the theme! It was fun to read the messages and immerse myself in the plot! Spill the tea.. :D
Thank you! :D
