How does your game fit the theme?
The character has to sacrifice itself and use its past selves as platforms to reach the end of the levels, thus doing each level multiple times, each time going a little bit further, until it reaches the next one

cool game

This game is hard, there are many sections that require too much precisions. Having the hitbox collider size being exactly the same as the sprite boundary may risk unwanted detections(A spike detects the player On the platform while the spike is at the side of the platform). The undo feature would be nice, but I can understand if that won't be taken, because of the decision of having the timer in the game. And one more important thing that is to make the game window scalable or have multiple resolutions. Not everyone has 1920x1080 resolution and playing on browser fullscreen mode may not fix that.

Anyway, the use of assets are well appropriate. The game is well playable. I could finish the game after 30 minutes.

Developer

The game was meant to be hard, but i agree that the controls are not precise enough for some of the jumps required.

The hitbox thing is more from the character side more than the spikes one i think, the animation should only rotate the sprite but i think i did something wrong and is rotating the hitbox too.

Yeah the scalable windows was not there because i didn't know how to do it and when i noticed it would be a problem was late enough to keep it as it is, for the next one will be one of the first things i'll try to learn.

Thanks for trying it out and giving so much feedback, it means a lot!

controls aren't very forgiving which makes this feel harder than it is. nice mechanics and art/music. undo last block button would have been good, and/or moving the loop button away from the movement keys so its harder to press by mistake. Nice work!

Developer

Yeah the controls are rough at times, specially when doing precise/ little movements.

The undo last block no being there was by design, i wanted the player to feel the weight of putting a block wrong and if they needed to restart that it would be because they messed up, thats why diying to spikes only resets your character and not the other ones.

Yeah the keys were put at the start and didn't iterate on them too much, i agree that S wasn't maybe the best idea ^^"

Thanks for checking it out tho, hope you liked it!

Cool game! bit difficult tho

Developer

Thanks for tying it, the intent was for it to be difficult. hehe

Mind you telling me which levels were the most difficult for you?

for me level 2 was already difficult xd

It would've maybe been nice to have an undo button (to get rid of the last block), but other than that really cool!

Developer(+1)

As weird as it may seem it was a design choice, I put more loops than what it took me to beat each level to give some slack to the players but i wanted for them to feel the weight of placing wrong the blocks, and if they had to reset it would be because their mistakes, thats why the spikes only reset your character and not restart the level.

Thanks a lot for trying it out tho!!
