Neat. Makes you really move your brain. I wasn't expecting though that number grows when you play different card of same color. Like it was 1 turn right and became 2 turn left. I was trying to run away but guy just jumped in right in crowd of goblins and perished couple moves after lol
It's a bit slow, but lots of potential
Amazing scope for a gamejam. I'm a big fan of TRPG so i loved it
Unfortunately, the main character didn’t move for me, but from what I did see, the goblins moved quite slowly. I’d suggest adding an option to adjust their movement speed. I also would’ve liked to have a command card available almost every turn — that would’ve made things more dynamic.
Keep the hard work !!
That’s strange. You should be able to draw 2 cards each turn!
The jam theme is really well integrated into the game. I personally love seeing card mechanics used in games like this . I think it makes them feel more unique and special :)
I liked the central mechanic and artwork. It played a bit slow.
Loved this, would love to see card mechanics explored more. So much room for more card chaos and big combos! The polish is so impressive with the core gameplay being really fun and there even being a great tutorial! Must have been so much work! - Crow
its great idea
This is such an unbelievably cool concept - I could definitely see so much potential for stacking chaos in specific complex cards--like branching logic based on conditions, or cards that affect the next card down the line, etc. Also very impressive that you made a kind of strategy-esque game in a game jam. Awesome work!
Really great tutorial to the game. Definitely got me in and going very effectively. I beat the 10 goblin mode by basically cheesing a looping turn/massive/attack/loop. Standing still and just obliterating everything that came near lol.
Only major feedback I would have is that it would be nice if there was a fast forward or some way to advance through the moves faster as late game it was time consuming seeing everything play out.
Nice job putting it all together. Really well executed idea!
It's really good that it has a in-game tutorial (unlike us hehe)
Liked the idea of loop cards and the tutorial was refreshingly thorough ! Very good thing to do as lacking a good explanation or tutorial is something that game jam games often suffer from! (Ours included!)
Nice, I like the idea of programming you minions turn, and the loop card is pretty cool! Steering him left and right if a bit hard and the pacing could be improved a bit but there's a potential here.
Very nice idea, I really like the loop mechanics and the fact that you have to strategize to get where you want with the cards you get! The waiting times between turns feel a bit too long, maybe the game could do without the semi-transparent popups (draw cards/command phase/enemy phase) to speed things up a little. I love the little assistant in the corner! Keep up the good work :)
