Pretty cool concept. Obviously not a lot there yet, but I quite enjoyed the writing that was there, and ending on earth was a nice touch. I felt like the spacecraft controls could be tightened up a little bit, but I did get used to them after a while.

How does your game fit the theme?
It's a roguelike + You have to land your ship on orbiting planets with orbiting moons.

Really neat idea, I was a bit sad that the red markings didn't show up on my ship though :c
Text adventure vignettes stitched together by a fun lil lunar lander game is a great concept, and I hope you end up taking it further! I didn't mind the controls, but I'm not sure how well they pair with dodging the fast-moving moons - I feel like something a bit slower and more deliberate would fit the vibe more, really hone in on that classic reverse-burn mechanic and the tension that comes from trying to fight a planet's gravity to nail a gentle landing. The biggest absence I feel was the lack of feedback on collision - I didn't even notice I was taking damage until I spied the tiny hull meter at the top.
Thank you so much for the comments! I may end up implementing the changes and taking the game further. You're right about the lack of feedback, I didn't have time for it though it was planned!
You could have seen the red markings if you would've managed to destroy your ship. After an unsuccessful expedition the starting screen shows the statistics and upgrades you've collected. It was meant as a roguelike where you would see your ship getting more and more upgraded after each playthrough. But I didn't manage to add enough content for it to become actually visible enough. Sorry about that :)
I was struggling a lot with piloting the ship and landing. I actually didn't mind it and was hoping for more of a focus expanding mechanics with that.
In the first sector of a planet closest to the sun you should unlock the teleporter. If you did a quest with a duel it should have unlocked even if you decline. After that you can jump to a second sector by pressing M and do a final mission on Earth.
There's a chance you started in a wrong sector, I think I didn't lock the map properly :) Did you start at the bottom left one?
Good work brother! It's a good prototype for sure. The narrative is cool, and Earth surprised me. Congrats :)
My pilot is drunk :)
Great theming and the text adventures were really impressive for this time frame.

I liked the game! I have one issue though, the controls felt a bit frustrating. One suggestion, you could make it so that the spaceship doesn't move when you are no longer providing thrust, it only rotates. The game is awesome though :)
wow great game!! Flying through the space felt awesome and the levels of story you managed to put in was commendable. I was having trouble navigating the planets(idk if its my skill issue). Very good game great job!!!
Loved the narrative here, it's an impressive amount of story for a jam game. I truly felt like I was exploring the cosmos. Controlling the ship felt very chaotic, which I think was the intention? I got the hang of it though.
I agree that the map was very subtle, I didn't notice it for ages and it was very small. There's something fun about flying around lost in space, though! Great entry.
The narrative scope immediately feels huge and gives an air of grandeur, which is cool. My best feedback would be to make the map on the bottom left more obvious. Our artist didn't spot it in the first 5 minutes.
I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to control, felt very slippery. But I love the idea!
