The concept is good but I thought it was a bit too slow for a game jam. Even letting it sit on the side, since there's no upgrades or other types of mechanics besides upgrading the tiles, I was missing something to look forward to.
Hope you keep working on it after the jam
Loved it! I usually don't play idle games, but there's something about watching the little ball of light make loops that's hypnotizing!
Really good job, I'll try to get the maximums >:)
Really cool concept for an idler for this jam. I liked the idea of combining the numbers to get upgrades. I think for a jam game it was a tad on the slow side. Maybe a few more empty slots on the loop or some shortened time between upgrades would be nice but I still enjoyed it. Great job!
This game is a bit long for a game jam... but I cleared it anyways. Or well, as much as you can call clearing it. I got to a very large number. It was very satisfying. I think the thing this game needs most is some victory condition to strive for, or, to put an ending once you get all the upgrades, perhaps.
Also a balancing note: All point increase upgrades past +50M don't seem to have any benefit, as their cost would reduce more from a .02% node than the node you're buying would earn you. Past that point, it seems only the % nodes and speed nodes matter. It's not that big an issue though, cos I end up feeling clever by being able to figure out they are not useful, and that's a good feeling.
Finally: Any proper "idle" game needs a volume slider or mute button, so you can leave it on another monitor without it interrupting other things you're doing. The music is good though.
Very interesting idea that could do with a bit of speed improvements but I get its an idler. Really strong concept tho!
really nice game! I got the clickers vibe, kind of addictive, but for some reason when I clicked on prestige everything was erased and I could not place anything anymore :(
Could you also give a feedback of our game? :)
My favorite part about this game was experimenting with node combinations to see what new toys I would get. I had a very satisfying sense of visual progress as I replaced old nodes with new ones on the ring.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to exit the prestige menu without clicking the prestige button, so if I wanted to check how much prestige I might earn, I was forced to start the run over. Also, if the +1 node happens to be taken out before 5 loops are accumulated, so the game has to be reset, which feels a little odd.
Would love to see this developed with some more oddball nodes. I'd spend a few bucks on a game like this.
Fun addictive idle game, ate up quite a bit of my time. Nice work! :)
This game has amazing game feel, with the audio and visual cues as to what is happening. The artwork is simple but effective. The gameplay is also quite neat, although a bit slow, and music is satisfying to listen too.
bruh this gam is peak I lubb it endplayed for sooo long
A great use of the theme, really creative!! Also some real nice visuals. Really enjoyed playing, and once you understand what is goin on it gets crazy
I would however maybe add a visual sing of how much of the bonus you have earned with out the need to check by pressing it
Awesome game!
Nice idea, really addictive
Easy to understand and fun game. I would make progression a little bit faster in my opinion.
Core loop is functional and the visual presentation is clear. Socketing as a progression mechanic is the standout feature, offering player agency beyond simple waiting. However, the pacing in the early stages was a bit slow so that could be improved. Would benefit from an active layer or faster ramp-up in early-game rewards.
bit too much waiting for me personally, nothing to do! :L
Nice idea on socketing nodes. Scratches my path of exile itch while idling.
nice
Nice idea
Really loved this one, I'll keep it running in the background to see how far we can go
Managed to finish it :D
Really liked the game, simple yet fun. Reminds me of cookie clicker.
