I really liked this game, especially the visuals they look cool.

Super cool, LOVED the visual style. Kinda wish the gameplay had a bit more too it, sometimes it felt a bit plain. But completely nailed the aesthetic. Great work!

Submitted(+1)

Great graphics and intro to the narrative, looking forward to seeing more one day!

Developer

Thank you! Hopefully we'll make it into a full game one day :)

Wow, this is a beautiful game. The whole vibe is on point. Gameplay felt a little bit too random at times (I literally lost every single round, even when using gum which seemed to do nothing). The style reminds me a lot of Inscryption. Very nice work!

Developer(+1)

Hey thank you for playing! Gkad you liked the game :) we're still going to work on the gameplay most probably!

the gum makes one of the coins land on what you bet, but maybe it wasn't clearly communicated.

Thanks again!

Oooh just one of the coins. Maybe that just needed slightly more specific wording, or maybe I just need to learn to read 🙃

Submitted(+1)

Absolutely LOVE the atmosphere, although I feel like the randomness is a bit much. I lost the first game without winning a bet a single time, and won the next try without much issue. Maybe items could be more powerful or could be dealt in bigger quantities?

Amazing game regardless, and an insane production given the time frame.

Developer

Hey thank you for playing, glad that you liked the game! :) We're going to work on the gameplay a bit more in the future. cheers!

I swear this guy rigged the odds lmao. Everytime I put all on heads it's 3x tails - but I shot him in the end so all good.

Such a polished and charmful game, the visuals were really great - truly inspiring. Great job!

Developer (1 edit)

hahah so you got your revenge after all ;)

Thank you for playing, glad that you liked the game!

How did you manage to create such an atmosphere in just four days? That’s incredible!

Quite shocking to see the quality of the ambiant work. Visuals, cinematics, sound, it looks and feels very polished. It definitely gave me Inscryption vibes, in the best possible way.

The gameplay wasn't my favorite part, but I definitely enjoyed diving into your experience. Congrats!

Developer

We're two people so we could focus on specific aspects of the game. Itwouldn't happen ifbit was not for such a great team! :)

Thank you for playing, we'll try to improve the gameplay in the future, Cheers!

Very immersive animations and sound scape. You can feel the crushing weight of the ocean as you gamble for an escape!

The tool tips don't work on web, they just flash for a moment so wasn't really sure what I'm supposed to do. It looks very cool, like that game with the shotgun roulette.

Developer

So basically you bet on what would be the outcome of the coin flips. If you guess 2 out of 3 you win. And you have items to mess with your chances but it's still gambling. And you can bet more than one cap to do more damage but then you risk losing as many caps as you bet.

Thanks for playing and hope you liked the experience :)

Beautiful style of the game and enjoying gameplay with appropriate ambient. Good game.

Developer

Glad you liked the game! :) Thanks for playing!

Awesome vibes! I didn't quite understand the coin flip game though. Does it always land heads and you remember the pattern? Is it completely random?

Developer

Hey thanks for playing :)

Yes it's always random but then you get items to alter your chance. If you guess 2 out of 3 coins you win the round. And can always use the items you get for better chance but at the end it's random.

Amazing work!

Ah you got the reference! :) That's exactly what we were going for! the dialogue can still get better but the time was really short so we did the best we could. Hopefully gonna work on the game and the dialogue in the future.

Tabletop games are fun to make, right? Very well made, graphics, sound design and gameplay.

Developer

Yes they absolutely are! Thank you for playing and happy that you liked the game :)

Could use some more items but it's beautiful for a jam game. Though I think the link to the them is slightly tenuous

Developer

Hey thanks for playing! we did the best we could in the short period of time, hope to work on the gameplay some more in the future :)

HOW IN THE UNHOLY DID YOU MAKE THIS GAME IN 4 DAYS! THE  SOUND, THEARTSTYL,EE THE GAMEPLAIt'sits all just simply perf ect.You manage to create a fire game! The only piece of feedback I can give you is that to make the animation for respawning a little f,aster because I lost A LOT!

Developer

With a lot of sweat ajd blood ajd ungodly amount of coffee haha Thank you for the kind words akd glad that you liked the game! :)

This was such a rich and atmospheric ecperience. The art, sound, and narrative come together beautifully, and the vibe is absolutely on point. I was also reminded of Inscryption in the best way possible. The coin mechanic confused me a bit at first, but it almost felt intentional, as if losing control was part of the experience. Amazing job overall! If anyone’s interested in more loop-based concepts from the jam, feel free to check out my entry as well!

Developer

Hey thank you for the detailed feedback and the kind words! glad that you liked the game :) will check your game for sure! 👌

This game deserves to win a few of the voting catagories. The style reminds me a lot of inscrpytion, but there was a lot extra to love too. Aesthetically and thematically on point.

Developer(+1)

Hopefully we get a nice rating haha thank you!

Thank you for playing amd best of luck with your game as well!
