Refreshing interpretation with a moody atmosphere. Got a bit of a dramatic turn where I won the contest, but died of starvation.

This was a very nice interpretation of the theme and a fun game to play! At some point I did establish a new loop of life (buying groceries every two days, cooking, walk, library, write until the next day) since I was able to live of my contest winnings and sleep only affected my mood which I balanced out with library visits and walks.
For me it was a very appropriate level of optimism I think. Just a small encouragement to try to do more things that make you happy. Very nice, hope you manage to recover from the jam stress and the unhappy loop life and flesh this out a bit more!
Moral of this game: eating at home doesn't work, I must order takeout
Just kidding, the takeout also didn't always work
Anyway, congratulations on making it through the jam!
Kind of reminds me of having a tamagochi. The delay in the status updates kind of confused me in the begining, but overall a neat game :)
The idea is neat, but i feel like some of the actions dont do what you expect them to? For some reason going to the library feeds you but going to a cafe doesn't (though at least you dont starve when going to a cafe). And taking a walk only affects the mood but not creativity which i thought was weird. Otherwise the game is great! Would love to have some audio though
very nice system to improve your skills. It seems you don't really need to sleep, right? also the hunger display only updates one turn after you ate something. but nice artstyle over all!
