Fun little game, too me awhile to understand and get used to the mechanics, but once I got started, it was kind of fun, I eventually focused on trying to crash the game by trying to fly too fast. I think if you can tighten up the controls, limit the speed and do something about escaping, it would be a really fun game.

I played this on stream, here is the highlight in case you find watching first playthough useful:

Found the controls a bit awkward, and it is not really clear why I would lose speed when in orbit around a planet. I would expect to just change direction, but not slow down. Maybe it was just me, though. The others seemed to have managed just fine, apparently ^^'

Reminds me of this game I played called "floating point", I love physics-y swing-y stuff, and this hits that spot nicely. If you ever continue to develop the game, yeah I do wish I could go a bit faster, or just swing and chill with no time limit, or have multiple planets mapped so I can plan my swinging direction.

the controlls felt a little off to me but still nice work!

Loved the controls, this game has heaps of potential in the future!

I really love the main mechanic of the game and it definately has a lot of potential. I did find that it the movement could have been a but more responsive tho and maybe if you made it be a bit fast paced it could actually be a really cool game. but that's just my opinion I did enjoy it tho :)

It's a little rough around the edges but the core idea is pretty good and could probably work well as a mobile game. It's like an increasingly difficult SM64 bowser swing but with the added thrill of going FAST

Very interesting, the game over/refresh issue is a bit annoying to play consecutive times.

One smol feedback: Try to signal better the delivery objective, it's there but it gets lost so close to margin and being very indistinct.

Once I got the hang of it it was really fun. I always love a good grapple hook in a game and this was like a space grapple hook - what's not to like? Could have done with a little more speed though and maybe a few effect to really give it that oomf, but otherwise it was great and the music felt perfect.

Developer

Thank you so much for the review! I really appreciate your feedback.

nice swinging around, i would've loved to build up speed more and see how fast I can go. but I did feel like a space truck delivery system!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed playing the game!

fun time swinging around! nice work

Developer

Thank you!

A really cool concept! Could definitly be a fully fledged game with some more polish!

The movement mechanic was really fun once I got the hang of it! My one gripe is the delay between the next package upon completing a delivery leaves you just hanging around for a second or two. Had a great time playing it!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed the game! Thank you for the feedback!

I like this concept. I did find the controls tough to handle after releasing from a hook, and Time as the lose condition felt tough as I was still getting the hang of controls. Would love to see it expanded after the jam.

There were a couple of bugs when I played:

  • When the game ended it stayed in the game but frozen instead of resetting to the beginning (I probably caused that)
  • I was unable to un hook a planet

Overall I see this being a very fun arcade game but another thing is that it can be hard to play with a touchpad other than that you have a good foundation for a great arcade game

Developer

I’m sorry you encountered bugs. I didn’t consider touchpad support at the time. I’ll try playing the game with a touchpad and see how I can improve it.

Thank you for the feedback!

Cool idea, controls felt a little janky, but the atmosphere and vibes were very chill.

Developer

Yeah the control can definitely use some improvement. Thank you for the feedback!

something was very relaxing about this games atmosphere!

That was exactly what I was going for!

Really cool game, clever use of astro mechanics. Unfortunatly it's kinda easy to fly outside of map and loose time trying to get back.

Developer

I shouldve added a manual reset button. Thank you for the feedback!

Cool idea.

Rather than a timer, I'd have prefered obstacles or other player limitations. Delivery targets seemed too far apart from each other to make it in time between them.

Developer

The obstacles were initially in the game plan, but I was running out of time.

Thank you for the feedback!

I played the web version. It's seems to freeze a lot at the start of a game, and once "crash" completely. But again, didn't tried the .exe.

It's hard to understand how to "move" the ship. It took me 4 tries to deliver 1 package. Because I didn't understand that you can't accelerate when close to a planet.

The ship handling is pretty hard to get a good grasp of. Took me a while to get how the hook physics worked, but it's kinda fun

I also don't see most of the time the arrow that points to your destination.

Audio is really fitting, so calm.
