A very cool idea for looping time!

fun game! a bit hard though lol my pb is ~36s, so barely above a third into the total 30min runtime (assuming there isn’t a sequence afterwards)

some more unfortunate bugs I found are that you sometimes get stuck on walks instead of falling down properly (resulting in a death or few), and picking up health packs not actually regenrating you (enemies also scarecely didn’t deal dmg but that’s not unfortunate & will therefor go unreported, my condolences)

other than that it’s a cool but challenging game, esp w/the chasing orbs oft seeming to spawn in such a massive hoard that you simply must sacrifice some health to get out :P

This was a nice take on the time loop concept. I really liked the art style of having yourself blink in at a different color and the way you reversed all the clones back to time = 0. Very creative!

I really like the concept of the game! The artstyle and audio work well together 😀

But gameplaywise it feels like the "optimal" way to play it is just to hide in a spot and wait, sometime dodge a projectile or your ghost. Maybe with more health packs or some other bonuses scattered around the map you can reward the player to take risks and move around. I think this would make the gameplay more exciting

Good job!

Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! We think something went a little wrong with the spawn rate of some of the projectiles, particularly the chaser ones, in the last version we uploaded before the deadline sadly that makes it a lot easier than it's supposed to be to just stand still. Didn't quite have enough time to playtest it for bugs by the end of the jam xD

Even though you can only jump, this game was pretty addicting! I was enjoying the difficulty spike after looping around 30 seconds! I'd try to beat it, but 60 seconds is definitely an endurance fest >:O Love the character design!

for such a simple game concept this has honestly been one of the most fun I've played so far! Pretty fun dodging those ghost versions of myself

Hands down the best game I played in the jam so far!

I had a very similar idea but with the time ghosts helping you instead, didn't go with that idea tho.

Great execution.

Would be better if the screen size got a bit less, I have 1920x1080 monitor and the game didn't fit in my entire screen. Also more health ups would be nice, the game as of now is extremely hard to pass and it is very disappointing to die in the last few seconds of the game.

Very cool idea and  the game makes you think you're making trouble for yourself, my best score is 30 seconds.

Very cool concept! I had similar strategy to others of holding myself still in corners to make easier room for later, but still get overwhelmed eventually. Cute character design too!

I really like the concept and the execution! It's a lot of fun to run around dodging your past shadows. It does get repetitive after maybe 15 min into a run, but it's a super cool game!

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Amazing concept!

Thanks for playing! :D

At first it didn't seem like this would be that hard, but things got out of hand really fast, which was a super fun realization. The art is great but (nitpick) one of the legs blends in to the background. Audio was fine, but I didn't realize I was taking damage until I died the first time cause the hurt sound is so quiet. It's a really great concept with good execution, and if you ever take this concept further I suggest more content in later times. A half hour is a good length for a full game's run, it's a bit long for a jam, but it's perfect for this kind of game methinks. Great work!

Yep a lot of stuff was very rushed together literally up to like 10 minutes before the second deadline lol. Definitely some stuff we could have polished. But thanks for playing! :D

This is a fun concept to play around with. I think towards the end it does drag on a little since my strategy was to find a spot I hadn't been at yet and just stand still until the timer went out, but dodging around and planning my moves was fun.

Thanks for playing! We ran out of time while trying to balance the game but we hope it was still fun enough :P

Most certainly was. Thank you for sharing it
