How does your game fit the theme?
It requires you to build loops of fences to stop the sheep from moving.
(Optional) What would you like to be called if GMTK features your game?

Cute game. I didn't really understand the fence mechanic - sometimes it would connect automatically, other times it wouldn't... But the sheep are cute and the music is pleasant.
This game reminds me of something... Interesting idea!
That is wild! What a coincidence. Your game looks super cute too, I may have to give it a shot! :)
Hey, the probably needs some more work but you still should be proud of what you did in a short span of time! Remember that this is a process that takes a while and it gets easier with time.
As for some unsolicited advice, Godot works pretty well on linux ;)
I will be honest, running GMS2 on steam through Proton worked flawlessly the entire time. I know Godot works on linux well, I just have zero experience with that one. But I appreciate the advice. I hope to further expand this concept beyond what I made, and may return to it at some point.
Hey, I saw you on Dc! Your game is really great — I love the art style. Nice work! Don’t forget to check out my game too!
Very cute game. Once I read the comments and noticed the fence length the placing made more sense. Still sometimes the fences might have connected kind of wonky. Even if there was a pole close it connected to somewhere further away. Or maybe that was a feature.
With the time constraints there is always a set order they check in, but overall that is something I wished I could have polished more or communicated better.
I love the artstyle, these sheep are so cute haha, one thing I'm a bit confused is how the fence connect, sometimes it seems I can make connections from very far and some times they need to be on the neighbouring cell, other than that, it's very fun!
Yeah I didn't have time to make a proper tutorial, but I appreciate the feedback. In the top left it tells you how far each post can reach with the "Fence Length". I am glad you enjoyed my silly sheep game! :)
Ohh, I didn't understood that length part, now it makes sense xD I really enjoyed it haha
Really fun and cozy! Would love to see missions, rewards, and achievements added. Keep it up! :D
I had the exact same idea for it when I was making it. Definitely thinking about expanding this.
Very cute idea and game! I have to confess, the sheep animation made me laugh a bit, they kind of look like little frogs jumping lol
I know right! I had a ton of fun with there little leaping animations.
good start of a game!
I had so much more planned, so I may end up expanding the game sometime further down the line.
Nice game, I loved your take on the theme! I wasn't quite sure if there was an end state to the game though. I think I captured all the sheep, but nothing happened. Besides that, great entry!
Thank you so much for the feedback! There is absolutely a end state to the game, but it is not clear. All the sheep need to be asleep. This happens if they have NO moves available. As for the pens, each post can only connect to two other fence posts. This can definately cause confusion and was not explained that well enough.
How do I know that the game is finished? :) I think I managed, using those very long fences when you go straight. its a cute idea, and a nice twist that they move on every placed post.
Awesome feedback! So the way the game is coded, each fence post can only connect to two other fenceposts. If you do not make an fully enclosed loop or all the sheep are not asleep, the game will not count it as a win.
Cute little puzzle, it's a bit hard at first but you quickly catch up the idea
I am glad you liked it!
For anyone curious, my best score is 17!
Fun little puzzle game, very cute graphics, i would like to have a little bit more information on how things work, ie: how the fences work exactly and how the sheep move, but a fun challenge <3
