Simple but effective. The buttons could be a touch more clear but it was a fun quick romp.

Cool game once I figured it out. Big respect for raw dogging it without a real engine :)

I had the opportunity to play a game with a similar concept, but this game's implementation is much more sophisticated. Excellent work!

Great game, love the graphics

The simple graphics give it a very nice charm. This game also puts your head to use, trying to find the best way to create a pattern that will do what you want. I do want to point out, though, that the buttons that move you to the right are on the left side and vice versa. And what the buttons do arent very intuitive. Also, I think it would be really helpful to be able to see the pattern that I'm making in a timeline-like thing. Overall, though, a really nice game that gives the theme a musical twist.

lol I didnt even think of the backwards controls. Im screenshotting this as I feel like a lot of common sense goes out the window when I am the only one looking at a project the whole time haha. Thank you for the feedback!

There was a plan to have the pattern show up somewhere but the game was "functional" and everything at 2am the day of the game jam so I just called it there. I do agree that that would be a nice feature to help things make a little more sense.

So valid when its late and the game jam is about to end we typically cut out a lot of things, which includes quality of life things.
