Nice game and really interesting your interpretation of the theme.

Nice and the art in the background is really cool !

The vibe it gives is uncertainty, nicely crafted, you conveyed a short looping story nicely, you don't know what's gonna happen for every choice at first, you try to imagine what it could lead to.

Really good story!!
there are multiple endings?

This really twists your mind. No discernible beginning, ending, cause or effect. Incredible work, I enjoyed every second of it c: Edit: this was done in Ink? Even more amazing, that’s what I use for my own narrative games! Ink is great :D

i love the story and the atmosphere that this creates! the background art is also pretty cool.

Nice effort.

Developer

Much obliged.

Great writing here!  Also really big thumbs up for the customisation/accessibility options for the fonts, which often goes overlooked! (Would have commented on music/ ambience, but from reading earlier comments I gathered the unfortunate accident that happened haha) Was a great time playing this!

Developer

Thanks! The font options etc are all a feature of the excellent Atrament which I used to power this (node.js + ink!) - first time using it to make some kind of experience, so it definitely had a small learning curve!

Great story, masterfully delivered. Well done!

Developer

Aw, shucks, thanks!

The concept works very well!

Thank you!

Loved the story! I was hooked and I wanted more:D

Developer

It was based off a flash-fiction story of~1000 words, so it's pretty compact, but one could definitely expand on it! Thank youuu!

Surely there is an answer....this time will be different, right!?!?  *Close my eyes*

Developer

There is an end, actually. Spoilers!

Loved the writing, it was quite the gripping story! One suggestion would be to add some background ambience in order to further sell the vibe (unless there was sound and my browser was just playing up). Great Work!

Developer

Aw shoot, there was a whole soundtrack! It's linked in the About section. Didn't even realize it wasn't playing in the build version, dangit, it worked in the dev version. :(

Workaround: go to the link in the about section and play it while playing, I guess :D

Thanks!

It happens.😭 I was wondering why there was a volume slider in the settings ahaha. Still very enjoyable nonetheless :D

Very cool submission! I was actually quite invested in the little story and what was going on. Very interesting, great writing!

Developer

Thank you! Pulled it together real fast-like, mainly to test Ink in node.js :D
