How does your game fit the theme?
In this game, every failed attempt creates a looped version of the player's past movement — turning their previous actions into a moving obstacle. These looped selves persist and repeat their paths, forcing the player to learn from and avoid their own history. This creates a gameplay loop where each failure literally becomes part of the next challenge, tying the theme directly into both the mechanics and the narrative tension.

I love the concept, it's very unique! Unfortunately I think it is missing something in order to make it an enjoyable experience.

The red squares moving randomly makes it so that the player essentially just have to wait until there is an opening, and waiting is not gameplay :)

I hope I don't come off as rude here, I'm sure you already have ideas on how you'd like to improve your game, but I think game lacks a way for the player to control the outcome.

This could be either in the form of actually being able to influence how the red squares move, or by being able to predict their movement.

Over all you have some good stuff going on here, and I'd be really interested in seeing you iterate on this concept.

Good job and best of luck!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback!

I'm really glad to hear you found the concept unique — that means a lot. You're absolutely right about the red squares and the lack of player agency. I appreciate you pointing that out so clearly. My intention was to create a tense, timing-based challenge, but I completely see how the randomness can turn it into more of a waiting game than an engaging one.

I already have a few ideas in mind for how to make the red squares’ behavior either more predictable or interactable. Adding more control or strategic options for the player is high on my list if I revisit or expand the game post-jam.

Good luck to you as well!

At first I was confused because tutorial is not shown straight forward once I found it, it was much more understandable. It is sometimes a bit anoying to wait for red blocks to move but nonetheless I really like the concept and I find it really unique and good job on that one!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree the tutorial could be clearer and I’ll work on that. I’m also thinking about making the red blocks feel less like waiting and more interactive. Glad you liked the concept though!

Good creativity and I can see the direction but if there was a tutorial this game would be a magnitude better, but great concept hope you continue to develop this game! Check out my game if you find the time.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the encouragement and agree a tutorial would make a big difference. I’m planning to add one as I keep working on the game. I’ll definitely check out your game too when I get the chance!

Pretty tricky.  Neat concept!

I'm pretty sure I never actually died, so the gameplay was kind of lost on me, might just be very confused though! The concept seems cool when I intentionally go for it, and I like the scoring system!

It's a cool idea, but I found myself just restarting to avoid my ghosts haha.
