Incredible art. I really like the flowing style this has going on.
Kind of difficult, but I think thats part of the gameplay's charm. As a sailor, the behaviour of the boat feels like a fairly good attempt at making you feel the struggle against the water current.
The art is amazing! The controls are very hard however, my best try was only 1.5 barricades. I lost a lot of resources trying to go faster and ramming into something, and missing a building means you need to complete an entire loop again as you can't really go against current
Both the implementation of the theme and the gameplay are very unique. The picture is nice... The only minus (subjective) is that the controls are a bit stiff for me.
Magnificent graphics! The gameloop is nice, I like his peacefulness even if we fight with the water flow to move around.
Thank you
controls are inverted for me. Art was pretty unique to see. I see the theme interpretation well.
Thank you.
It is intended for the controls to feel inverted. Think of it as picking what side of the boat to row on. The left paddle will rotate the boat clockwise and the right one counterclockwise.
The art style for this game is amazing. I love how the Vangogh-esque sprites flow along paths! The controls are pretty clunky and the gameplay is difficult. Overall, I really enjoyed the aesthetic! Great job!
Thanks for playing.
The controls being clunky is core to the gameplay, as it is supposed to be a struggle against the river's current. Figuring out a good balance for that was challenging. I hope it wasn't too discouraging and you had some fun with it.
