How does your game fit the theme?
Day by Day draws inspiration from the endless loop of mundane daily life. You control a small cat, navigating a constant stream of incoming events that fill each passing day. Every action — whether it's working, relaxing, socializing, or resting — gradually depletes your time and energy. Balancing work and life becomes a quiet struggle, as the pressures of routine slowly build up. When the burdens grow too heavy, life begins to collapse under its own weight. Yet, persistence carries the hope that the next sunrise might bring a change, however small.

Love the concept, and the audio-visuals are top-notch!

The art and direction are really impressive!
It would be even better if the feedback for actions felt more direct

The art is absolutely stunning. I was a little confused on how the game worked at first and got stuck in an endless relaxation loop my first run. I probably should've read the description lol. Great game! I enjoyed it a lot

Thank you so much for playing and for your kind, generous feedback! I have to admit the game is still very much a work-in-progress. Rather than applying a traditional genre or mechanic to the "loop" theme, we started from the concept of the loop itself—and tried to build a gameplay experience around it.

That meant we spent a lot of time early on designing how the loop works (and how to break it), which unfortunately left us with very little time to implement all the ideas we had in mind. There's still a lot to improve, especially in terms of feedback clarity and more open-ended endings. (We actually have music that's just as stunning as the art (no kidding!), but we ran into some issues during implementation. Once it's sorted out, I'll upload it ASAP—I promise it's worth the wait! )

I'll be working on it gradually after the jam—hope you'll stick around and check it out again later!
