Its a cool concept though a bit confusing at first

Thank you for the comment, but what did you find confusing? Just so i know what to improve on.

Mostly how to open the doors lol

The shield came in handy for that big titan guy. The combat for the frog things is nice btw.

The vibe was so spot on with the art and audio and gameplay, good job!

Really cool concept! I love the ability mechanic—it adds a fresh twist to the gameplay, even if I didn’t end up using it too often. The visuals and feel of the combat were spotless, and I appreciated how the difficulty built up. I’d be excited to see a post-jam version where the ability gets pushed more into the spotlight. Great work overall!

Awesome job! Really loved the mood and the audio

I love the concept and the art style I really enjoyed it

I really liked the visuals of your game! The mechanic is great but I feel like I under used it because your game didn't really make it mandatory to use.
But I had a lot of fun playing it, well done!!

Thank you for the feedback. I did have plans for making the enemy that attacks in a large area have a shorter attack time, which would force the player to use the ability. I chose not to do this because it would have made the game more difficult, and some players wouldn't get it. I probably should have stuck with forcing the player to use the ability.

Excellent game, I thought the sounds are pretty satisfactory and enjoyable, each step is like music lol. The movement are cool and the enemies offers a challenge when working together. It took me 3 deaths in the boss fight until I finally beat the game, it was a really cool experience

Neat game!

I've been playing "Isles of Sea and Sky" lately and this is right up my alley!

I'm a big fan of tile-based games and this was a lot of fun!

I think with some more time and polish, you'll have one heck of a game!

It would be cool to expand on some of the puzzles and time mechanics (rewind a clone/ past self as a decoy/ temporary block while the original stays or a demon boss that has control of your time powers after a certain number of moves.)

Great work on your game jam submission!

Thank you for your feedback and "Isles of Sea and Sky" looks pretty cool I'll check that out.

Your suggestions are really cool, I did have plans for making puzzle rooms that would give the player new abilities, but didn't have time, but the idea of having a past self clone is pretty neat, I only came up with an ability that rewinds all enemies around the player.

As for the boss suggestions is really creative and would have been a lot better than the boss i had planned. My original idea with the boss was to make it so that it would know that you looped back and would have a big attack ready when you used ability.

But due to time constraints I didn't have time to complete my ideas.

Yeah, I think you'll like it! :D

Sounds cool!

And no worries, I couldn't even get 30% of what I wanted to do for the game jam. I can't believe I was thinking I'd get 4 bosses done, I barely finished 1 lol

Now with the game jam passed, I'm going back and making some tweaks. Looking forward to see more updates from your game! :D

Reminds me of Crypt Of The Necrodancer-like games, neat game!

The visuals here are stunning, and the way each new enemy forces you to rethink your strategy kept me fully engaged. The combat rhythm feels perfectly paced, and I loved experimenting with different tactics. A dynamic combat soundtrack could push the intensity even higher, but as is, this was a ton of fun!

I really like the visuals. Once multiple enemies are introduced the combat becomes pretty interesting strategically.

I thought the game was quite straight forward at first, but I needed more strategy and thinking once there were multiple enemies. The difficult scales really well, and I found it very fun. The enemy designs were fantastic too. Fantastic work!

I like that you need to use strategy to defeat enemies, also the boss fight was really, just wish there was some boss battle music. Overall great game!

Time travel mechanic! Love it. I'll  try out when I get to the computer

You did a phenomenal job on your game and its mechanics! I love the loop rewind effect and was surprised by the strategic elements as well. It feels like a love letter/child to two of my favorite games, Prince of Persia and Crypt of the Necromancer. I would love to see this developed further!
