How does your game fit the theme?
The BGM is a simple loop. The player creates random musical notes by shooting enemies, adding variety to the audio loop. The visual background is a rotating earth and starfield, which also fit the theme of loops and cycles.

That was amazing, thank you for making this! Really enjoyed playing it. So cool that it's actually improvised :) On my second attempt I found a spot in the boss-fight where I could just stay still and the projectiles would miss me... It could be cool to add rhythm or a way to charge shots to incentivize not holding the mouse-button down. Also if there was some way that the loop played a bigger role, for example if enemies you miss re-emerge on your next orbit or something.
Bravo!
Really enjoyed this, very satisfying. I never figured out you can hold the mouse down so I was clicking like crazy the whole time. Perhaps the addition of a musical stab/stinger or a whole chord when you defeat a larger enemy would be nice?
The first time I shot an enemy and heard the sound? Pure magic. Super creative submission, nicely done!
I was clicking so hard before I realized you can hold down the mouse haha. Awesome game, had fun with it.
Very satisfying game, soundtrack slaps.
pew pew pew
It is cute and enjoyable to play. I like the wonky designs. Audio works great together with he gameplay, would be cool to have some additional rhythm-based mechanics to emphasize it even more. The player sprite can get out of the screen to the left, it would also help to fix that.
Thank you for the valuable advice! It took me quite a while just to implement the basic shooting, enemy wave mechanics and make the audio working. I wish I had more time to dig deeper into some more creative mechanics.
This was super fun!! I actually started really leaning into trying to make my own rhythm and it got surprisingly difficult to do that while staying alive towards the later parts. Love the art and music together. Nicely done!
When I first started playing, there was a moment where I couldn’t tell if the notes were part of the music or not because it sounded so good! Quantizing the note sounds to the subdivision was a great call. Fantastic execution!
This is awesome! You know, even the freestyle you can do after beating the boss is fun. Just trying out different rhythm patterns

Really cool submission, I liked it a lot. I'd maybe tone down the shooting sounds so the enemy hit sounds can shine though. Either way I thought it was cute. Great work! :)
A nice cute danmaku-lite shmup!
Thank you! I played your game too, your music is amazing!
I'm not sure that the bullets were timed correctly when the music thing played, Idk if this was intentional but it kind of felt like i was being lied to?
However I do really like the idea of having the killing of enemies being part of a beat, which was really awesome. I did notice the big enemies had a treble and bass clef which made me think that shooting them would play high/low pitch notes respectively, maybe an idea?
Thanks for playing! Yes the timing of the notes is intentionally synced with the beat, otherwise it would sound chaotic. The treble and bass clefs on the enemies do indicate different pitch ranges, and the final boss plays both high and low range. By the way enemies with blue stripes have a small chance of playing a blue note.
Lol maybe I should have played to the end, I actually want to try that boss out now
Really good idea, really fun! When the music hit *chef's kiss*
but tbh, the bullet sound ruined it a little, and the final boss had too many bullets and no interesting pattern
but I could totally see myself becoming addicted to a full version of this
Thanks for the feedback! I'll pay attention to sound balance and pattern variety next time!
THE POWER OF SPAM CLICK
Lol actually you can also hold down to fire continuously. Thanks for playing!
Loved the music and juiciness! As someone who enjoys bullet hells, I had quite a nice time :)
Congrats on making it in such a short time!
Thank you for playing and for leaving the first comment! I'm glad you liked it! :D
