Way too ambitious for a gamejam
Super cool game for 3 days you did allot how much things that's inside only thing its a bit buggy but over all its a 10/10
Thanks so much for the kind words! 😊
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I know there are still a few bugs floating around, and I’m working on polishing things up more once the jam’s over. Thanks again for playing and leaving a review—it seriously means a lot! 🙌
I like it! I dont really understand why I need to build a house, it doesnt seem like I can build chests or crafting tables or something, so I ended up always moving forwards and getting more items. I do think that once you've chopped a couple trees and some rocks, you've maxed out, and there doesnt seem to be a reason to keep playing, but for 4 days this is a great survival game! Well done!
Thanks so much for the feedback! You’re absolutely right—once you’ve gathered some resources, there isn’t much incentive to keep going. I didn’t have enough time during the jam to add more content or balance the progression properly. After the jam, I’m planning to add more items, reasons to build (like chests or crafting stations), and better overall balance. I really appreciate you playing!
This idea seems really elaborate! But if I might give some feedback, I feel a 2d side scroller doesn't really work with procedurally generated worlds (which I feel this game is doing?) because all the worlds I got just had cliffs that the animals (and I) kept falling down. I think the game could be improved to become a complex and deep experience though!
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! You're totally right—the terrain generation is procedural, and I definitely noticed how chaotic it can get with the cliffs. I didn’t have enough time during the jam to smooth things out or add proper pathfinding for mobs, but it’s something I’d love to refine in a post-jam update or sequel. I’m really glad you see potential in the idea!
I'm curious how it will turn out!
by the way, it would be really cool if you can also rate my game! :)
Alrighty, I'll check it out rn
I loved the little sun face hehe
Hehe, the sun is always watching… and smiling! 🌞 Thanks for noticing, glad you liked it!
A bit unclear how to proceed, but overall a good start. Good luck!
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll definitely try to make the start a little clearer in future updates or projects. Glad you liked the concept, and I appreciate the support! Good luck to you too!
