Really like the vibe)) and the art looks nice in the background) The sound and music in the game are great, they really help you get into it. Looping around objects is honestly pretty addictive. Maybe the interface could use a little more work and some hints for direction would help, I was a bit confused at first. But overall, it’s a really enjoyable experience) Had a fun time playing, good luck developing the game further.

Julie, thank you very much for the review! I'm really glad liked the vibes and that you found the experienece enjoyable. I will definitely add direction hints toward targets in post jam version. Working on it as we speak. Hopefully you will check out an updated version as well.

I beat it! The background silhouettes and the bright colors are nice, there's something satisfying and intuitive about looping around objects to win points. I didn't realize immediately that there were bounds left and right I wasn't supposed to cross, I thought I would go endlessly right, rather than try to loop around ice creams within an area. The bird sound is funny, and the idea of going faster after each loop makes sense to me.

For me, the game feels like a functioning prototype of the looping mechanic, with potential to be expanded and polished. Towards the end where I was going very fast it was difficult to get loops cleanly around the objects and felt a little clunky and frustrating. I think adding another ingredient, like having a speed boost to go around the loop, or obstacles/projectiles for the player to avoid could be a step towards making the gameplay more dynamic!

I am a musician, not a coder/artist/developer, but I have enough experience in my own time with these tools and working on projects to know how much it takes to put together a game. Well done!

Nate, thank you very much for such an elaborate review! I'm really glad the you enjoyed at least part of experience ) Good to hear that I managed to create a pleasant feeling from looping. I hoped as much. Thank you for all the suggestions too. I'm planning to push it at least to a post jam version listening to all the feedback. I hope you will try out the updated one as well. Again, thank you very much your time, kind words and a thorough review.

Very glad that the chill vibes were apparent. I was a bit torn between making it more competitive or just an experience to enjoy. I think I will make it two separate modes in further versions.  The direction toward nearest off screen target is also one of the functions I planned but wasn't able to make it time, the same goes for danger zone red glow of something like that. But actually for the sides I think have an even better solution. I will continue pushing it at least to a more smooth post jam version. I'm planning to find a way to build it for Windows too. Hope you'll try out an updated version as well. Thank you very much for a thorough review!

Hey! Thank you very much for showing interest in my game. Unfortunately I only have mac and isn't able to try yours. But the artwork on screenshots looks pretty nice and the concept seems simple yet engaging. All the best to you in further development!
