How does your game fit the theme?
The code contains loops, that can contain loops... So the challenge is to build a tactically clever sequence of code. And with so many problems, even programmers can quickly go loopy...

Really great idea! Does need some balancing, as you're way too much at the mercy of RNG for which cards you get, while the enemies quickly get tough *and* stay effective, making you much more likely to lose without real agency. I'd love to play a more polished version of this.

By the way, I'd love some feedback on our game too!

Omg a whole deckbuilder nice! I died to the second enemy but it was very cool

I like the idea, but for me the game has some balancing issues. You have too many cards that depends on each other, for example both the card that increment the iterations of a loop and the card that decrement a value are only useful if you also have the “Stack overflow” card (at least in the beginning, I didn’t unlock everything). And since the cards are discarded between each turn, you have to get them in the same turn for them to be useful. Which is a bit to dependent on luck in my opinion. This could be solved by kipping the cards between rounds, but I don’t know if it’s the right idea for you game.

Besides that, the visuals are nice and the game is fun to play nonetheless, so good job =)

The best game for the jam I’ve played so far. Slay the Spire is one of my favorite games, so a jam game based on it is a real treat!!!

This game is so underrated, it should be on the top page! I loved everything, the idea, graphics and music. I only wish the game gave you more options to perform massive game-breaking loops. Something similar to balatro. That would be epic. Great work!

thank you so much, that's very nice to hear. Would have also loved to put in more options to combo but there simply wasn't enough time. Might continue working on this in the future though :)

Fun game!  Struggled a bit with the clarity of some of the cards. For example, I had a card that modified a loop, but no actual loop in play and the top window was lighting up as if I could use it. Took me a bit to realize why nothing was happening.  Overall had a lot of fun trying to think of cool combos though!

Really original concept. I would have taken more. The best I played so far. Good job.
