It looks so simple but this is so hard lmao. It is like playing a rhythm game, but one that relies on so much memory it's just hard to see it as a challenge even bigger than the timing itself. That said, it felt like the timing bit had a bit of assistance, and honestly, a very welcome assistance, really well thought!

Developer

Thanks for giving it a shot! Mixing rhythm with memory definitely wasn’t the best idea for a wide-appeal game haha

NICE JOB WITH THIS!!! it's super polished and clean and the game loop is quite fun! my highscore is 16 B). i enjoyed how the different keys made different sounds so it was easier to remember what was played before! and as someone who also made a rhythm based game, i understand the struggle with the latency... i do think the way the beats pop up onto screen could change, because even when the watch is playing them, they seem to not make sound on beat with the watch clicks? but ya super cute and fun i like this one a lot!

Developer

THANKS The way I handled the beats was, in retrospect, super stupid which is why I think the timing varies with whether you’re playing on the web, windows, on a powerful computer, potato, etc. Of course while developing it I adjusted it to play correctly on my machine, but I didn’t test it enough in other places 🤦 Nonetheless, thanks for playing!

a fascinating hardcore game) no matter how hard I tried, I always scored 10 points - the sound of a ticking clock is missing
Developer

Thanks for giving it a try! Weird, the clock definitely makes a ticking sound here

Suprised how much i actually played this game for, I weirdly loved the game. The art looks amazing, and its soo fun

Developer

Thanks for playing! I’m not great with art so I relied on low resolution, colors and shaders haha

Hey, I got 3 stars and 18 highscore.
Honestly, at first I thought it was pretty boring. But then I tried a second time and it kinda surprised me how much better I played and it was kinda fun xd. I really like how this is basically one of those reaction puzzles, but more fun. It combines instinctive reactions with trying to memorize something while doing it on a timer, which I kinda like. It's also nice how much forgiving everything is and it doesn't feel at all frustrating. I also appreciate the very small scope, since unlike most jam games, this one actually feels completed.

Developer

Thanks so much for the comment! I’m glad you gave it another shot :)

This game is awesome lol. I failed on 30 and I crashed out, was gonna get my 5th star!! I really love the sound effects especially once you introduced Q and E. Maybe I should get into drumming, ill have to revisit this one. I think the difficulty ramp is perfect too, congrats and great work!! If ya like puzzle platformers feel free to take a look at my entry :)

Developer

I’m happy someone made it this far! But realistically I probably should’ve went for a difficulty curve a bit smoother for a game jam entry 😅 Thanks for playing! Will take a look at yours :)

Good game, and a good take on the theme, just gets a bit too difficult by the end.

Thanks for giving it a shot!

Simple concept with a great execution and high polish! It does get pretty difficult quickly as you have to be pretty precise with the timing which makes sense. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Definitely should’ve done some more playtesting for the difficulty scaling

Submitted(+1)

Super fun, gets quite challenging quite quickly. It's a bit hard to learn how it works but once you get the hang of it it's quite addicting.

Developer

Thanks for giving it a go!

Nice game! as other pointed out, I also liked how it was both a memory and a rythm game. I was also amazed by the background, well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for giving it a try! I believe to have hypnotized myself while making the background, so I’m glad you liked it!

I like how you combined rhythm with the theme! It was very satisfying to play this game)

Developer

I’m glad you liked it! Spent a lot of time trying to make it feel good, thanks for playing!

The combination of rhythm game and memory game is a perfect fit, and surprisingly challenging! The change in style with each section works really well too - the faster rythms of round 2 were particularly fun

Timing windows are nicely forgiving, the game is plenty difficult so having a little leeway for minor mistakes is appreciated

My highscore was 12  - that slow round really gets me! :)

I will say I didn’t mean for it to be so hard!

I’m glad you liked it though! Thanks for playing :)
