How does your game fit the theme?
The game relies heavily on the looping of the season in it's visuals and gameplay. You need to go quickly through the levels in order for the season to not be in your way, Or you can wait for the correct season to progress.

Love the gameee! The music change between seasons feels a bit stiff, and the turtle’s jump has a slight delay ^_^ But overall, it’s super charming and I’m excited to see how it grows!

The game was nice. I like the idea with season change and how the environment change accordingly.

I'm not big fan of walk sfx, the timer feels a bit too fast, and i think it would be great with different bgm that matches each season.

I kind of didn't like the bone breaking sound effects. But this is all round a great game!

The seasonal effects were nice, and bouncing on the mushrooms was fun. I made it to the turtle :)
Waiting for the season to change unfortunately slowed down the gameplay a bit.

Very cute! I like the seasons looping interpretation of the theme

The movement felt a bit stiff and floaty, but I suppose it is a turtle lol
I'd like to see this expanded, maybe with the ability to control the seasons and more puzzle-y elements

Right now it feels more like waiting for the right cycle

Nice agme , very sleek and cute art :)

Interesting game idea! It definitely needs more levels and more environmental mechanics such as ice in the winter but the core idea is there!
I would also map jump to 'W' as well as space for a 2D platformer as that typically feels more natural to use. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable experience even if it was so short, good job!

Good game concept! The changing seasons affect the environment, and the visuals and audio work together nicely in a relaxing way. Really fun though!

Thanks for the comment!!!

I really loved the concept of the seasons changing, and the platforms reflecting the season change. Would really love to see more levels, but your concept is very solid that you can easily extend with more levels even past the GMTK. Wonderful job on the game! :)

Feel free to also check my game, and rate if you can :)

Thanks for playing and leave a feedback! Ill be happy to try yours too!!!

i loved how the music changed between seasons but it kinda sucked that it went so fast. I'd prefer bigger levels with longer time inbetween seasons so I really have to use the mechanic instead of running and gunning through. I didn't even notice that the turtle got old until i finished the game, which took me about 5 minutes. The art and sound were amazing though, and I could see this being a full indie game that i would happily pay for. Great job!

That was a very cute little game! I especially liked the season changing mechanic and how the world changes and so does your platforming/playthrough. I can definitely see this concept expanding into something bigger. Very well done!

Developer

Thanks! As a fellow platformer maker i see you had the same sight as us👀. We hope can working more on the level and the balancing. Yet thanks for playing 😁

Very nice idea and the concept of seasons changing the obstacles. Would love to have more time between each season and  more puzzles to cross to really take in all the changes. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! We hope can work more for the level! You had a great game too!

It's so hectic how quickly the seasons change. I like the overall idea though, fighting against time like that

Developer

Haha thanks for experiencing our game and leave a feedback! We hope can work more on the level and balancing on the rush hour haha

What a cool concept, watching the years go by as you slowly crawl forward to find your loved one. Cute game well done!

I liked the aging turtle mechanic. The 2nd level was soft locked. I think more levels would have been nice to add. Or maybe adding followers that trailed behind you like baby turtles.
I think more ui indication for the player would have helped a ton.
cute turtles falling in love though.

The layout changing with seasons is a fun concept, I got a little lost on the 2nd level not realising the sign itself was the exit

Developer

Haha, the level layout and sign can be better right. Thanks for playing!

I like that the level layout changes depending on the season. It was fun to notice certain patterns, like the trees growing taller in the summer and losing their leaves in the winter and plan around that. Sometimes I could move through the level faster by taking a specific route with a specific timing. I guess there was supposed to be a door next to the sign pointing to Mrs. Turtle? I wish I could say I observed the pattern of the seasons and devised a perfect route to reach the goal, but I ended up just guessing most of the time.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! We hope can build more level during the jam.
