cool! reminded me tower defense genre
It's a fun concept, but I kept getting my satellites destroyed by asteroids which I had no control over which was annoying since I was also unable to meet the requirements. I think some alternative to asteroids would be good or just changing them a bit. Here are some of my ideas: rusting satellites, satellites get damaged from asteroids and need to be repaired, asteroids don't one shot satellites.
I also like the art, especially the planet!
you can rotate the orbit to dodge asteroids, and place saterlites grouped so orbits will have a blank space to adjust it for asteroids
Oh! I didn't realize you could rotate the orbits! apparently I didn't see that in the tutorial somehow 🫠
Good work on the sound; it's satisfying and matches the gameplay. The tutorial is clean and straightforward. I also liked how the satellites are launched into orbit :)
Super cool concept. very simple to understand and play, perfect for a gamejam!
Simple but clever concept and excellent execution. I did like how you were stuck in a loss spiral if too many satellites got hit by an asteroid, since that made the +3 satellites option a lot more appealing, but it is really annoying that the satellite regeneration is really slow when you're behind.
Still a great game overall, though!
Wow, I got immediately very sucked into the game loop here! Definitely could see myself idling this for a long time, especially if there were more complex upgrades and obstacles. Few quick ideas of how it could go further -- unstable / non-periodical orbits, chaining together satellites with power lines to destroy asteroids for upgrade points, etc. Love how much depth comes out of managing a very simple initial system; and the slingshotting of satellites especially makes it fun and a little chaotic. Nicely done!
Pretty hard, but somehow still relaxing. I didn't realize immediately that you could stop the orbit (and not just accelerate it). They are still tricky to avoid, and their hitbox can be difficult to guess. Also once I was under the satellite demand, it was always impossible for me to get back up. Still, the concept is nice, and I had fun playing it! Also the art and sound are absolutely soothing.
Loved the art and the concept was amazing. However, I thought it got really hard really fast.
Simple game loop excecuted really well. Definitely found it hard to recover, took a bad hit and then was just 2 down. Felt like the difficulty ramp was maybe a bit harsh, but unlocked the third orbit so maybe it's about right.
Simple and very intuitive. I also like the artwork and music. Maybe also add an option to increase the speed it takes to add new satellites or an indicator bar for the demand and new satellite spawn. Great game nevertheless
This was a simple game but damn it was executed incredibly well. Easy to understand premise, beautifully clean aesthetic with some vibey music in the background (suitably space themed), and a growing complexity as the match goes on. Great work!
Great artwork and polish, I wish there was a bit more gameplay.
Simple but addictive.
I find it difficult to recover after being hit by one or two asteroids. Maybe a bit help when the player is lower on signal would be great?
Gorgeous game! It is a simple concept executed beautifully. I suck at it but I did enjoy it.
This game has a great artstyle, and lots of polish! I do wish there was a bit more to do with it though. The name is especially creative.
