How does your game fit the theme?
Every time you die, you don't load into a new world; you're in the exact same world. You've looped back to before you even entered, and you have to fight in the exact same way again, remembering where enemies spawn, how they move, and how'll they'll react. It's a game of trial and error, and of learning from times you got caught off-guard or made a mistake.

(Optional) Please credit all assets you've used
I got help from @starmanthestellar to make sprites.

(Optional) What would you like to be called if GMTK features your game?

This game has some great bones. The core movement feel really great to me. The sense of momentum combined with the quick movement and double jump really create a cohesive package. I think an endless arcade thing does not quite fit the feel of the game, though. If this was retooled into pure platformer or maybe a time trial game, I think it could be really special.

WASD to move and E to attack is a lot of work on that left hand.  Consider a thumb key like X, C, or spacebar?  Good designs on the player and critters, though.

I think the art style is great. The jump feels a bit extreme, considering the rest of the proportions, but I had quite a lot of fun with this game and you could integrate a lot of interesting mechanics into it. Keep going!

Cool game! I'm terrible at platformers and usually get frustrated, but I enjoyed this!

I really like the main character design. Don't be bummed if you couldn't get all your ideas in. I can definitely see the effort and potential it has.
