Really cool concept and I enjoyed figuring out the puzzles, but the slider to control the snake's size doesn't feel fluid, which made quick actions very difficult. It was also hard to know when I was in the light and when I was in shadow (maybe you could make the snake change colour/brightness when it is in light or shadow).

Submitted

I had trouble controlling the size of the snake. Not sure if it's because I did not control it correctly.

I love the concept on paper, and I think you pulled off an interesting concept out of the theme but there is a few things to tweak to make it better, especially the controls to make the snake bigger or smaller. But good job overall I think it's a pretty clever puzzle platformer

Really fun game! I think the only thing it needs is more polish

Nice game, I understood the concept. Already seen that kind of idea with a precedent GamJam about "Build to scale" (had to change the size of a cube to manage jumps, etc ...).

The idea is good but the control are a bit funky (being on a laptop really doesn't help).

Couldn't endure much levels, but think it's fun (nice add of "complexity" with the light factor limiter).

This became a fun co-op game when my wife controlled the keyboard and I controlled the slider lol, difficult but cool mechanics!

Is there a jump button? I was jumping by using the scaling slider, which is interesting nonetheless, but I am unsure if it was intended that way.

Developer(+2)

Yes, that is the intended way. The "Press R to Jump" was meant to be a joke but it seems I executed it poorly.

Much more fun than expected. Solid Submission!

The mechanics are interesting but not very convenient, but it's okay.

haha like the rolling snake

Sadly not working - maybe infinite loop of being stucked

Submitted

Couldn't really play it sadly due to the resolution. I don't know if it would break the rules of the jam but maybe you could throw a link to an exe in the description

Developer

Resolution bug is fixed!

Can't play it :( I dont know what is wrong with the resolution but I only see a tiny screen with 2 scrolls that dont even let me see the whole think :( Pity the musicis cool thou

I really love the idea, but I think the controls holding it back a bit, maybe making it so its the scroll wheel and not manually moving the mouse would've been more adequate. I had a lot of fun Nonetheless, and the creativity is indeed here, great game dude !

Really cool concept and level designs! It felt a bit unintuitive to find the slider to grow, but once I did it was a ton of fun.

Submitted(+1)

I swear I saw it say "R to jump", but I eventually figured it out. Cool concept!

Submitted

Very strange controls, not bad just unique for sure! Fits the snake theme :D Congrats on the submission

Submitted

Cool concept, but vary hard controls :’(

A very interesting game in terms of gameplay.
Levels 4–6 really made me stop and think a bit.
The game slightly reminded me of the winner of the previous jam — Little Slime Blows Up.

Developer(+1)

Definitely was an inspiration to this game. Glad you enjoyed it!
