How does your game fit the theme?
In this game about numbers, the board will loop to generate different random number blocks. More importantly, to deal with the predicament that large numbers are hard to trigger, you can use a "stamp" ability to reset the number loop to 1! (This requires an understanding in combination with the specific mechanisms of the game)

Excellent entry! The sheer amount of game feel considerations here really is what makes this work. The way the tiles animate on idle gives the game such a bubbly feel, getting scores feels great too (although it could be punched up even more if you wanted to sacrifice a bit of the relaxing vibe for the sake of added player satisfactions), and the hint system is super clever. The way tiles move together if you hover over a valid click is such a great way to onboard players. I am very impressed by this, you did an amazing job!

Developer

Thank you very much for your in depth review! Yes,  refining the interaction and feedback experience of the game does indeed consume the energy needed to deeply explore the  game mechanics,  especially when completing the jam task alone. This indeed requires a good balance. Perhaps if less effort could be  spent on the early conception stage and the guiding production, its gameplay mechanics would be more interesting!

Its SUPER polished and my mind was crunching numbers till it broke and started randomly pressing things lmao. Great job, and really captured that mobile puzzle game feel. Might I suggest an upcoming release on mobile devices? It'd definitely be at home there.

Developer

Thanx! Yes, it is indeed very suitable for mobile devices and this is in the planning stage

I guess the game I'm playing is something similar to Sudoku! It's very challenging.

Developer

yeah, it's indeed a cozy casual game, and it might be more like the style of 2048.Thank you for your liking

Addictive gameplay, with super polished animations and sound effects!

My only real nitpick is that the loop power could've been a more integral part of the game/more heavily emphasized

Developer(+1)

thank you for your review!  The loop ability is indeed not prominent enough at present. Or, the entire skill system should be more diverse. In other words, there is still much room for improvement.

This is a really cool game and so polished. I loved the simple art style and all the satisfying sound effects and polish. I found it a bit confusing at first even with the tutorial but that might just be me being dumb :D Amazing job on this one!

Developer

Im sorry for that. The tutorial right now really isn't that great.. If you get stuck, you can find a detailed gameplay introduction in the game description. I hope this can be of help to you!

Nice game. I don't have any real criticisms towards it. I think this could be a cool phone game, although maybe expanding it in some way could be ideal (idk, maybe changing the shape of the grid or add special powers, or stuff like that). Congrats on creating this in such short time 👍

Developer(+1)

Yes, there is a lot of expansion work to do! And completing it in four days (actually two and a half days) is indeed a considerable challenge!

This is awesome! It's a little intimidating to start but the rules are very simple, I found myself playing this a lot more than I expected I would. Probably my favorite puzzle game of the jam!

Developer

Glad you pushed through the initial learning curve! It means a lot hearing it became your jam favorite puzzle.

Wow what a game! Simple but so fun! I was having real fun with this

Developer

 Glad you're enjoying it!

Loved the idea. Simple and super fun. Great job!
Also the amount of polish in this game was insane. Congrats

Developer(+1)

Thanks. In fact, the idea of making a well-polished game to practice with actually came earlier than the design concept of this game mechanism. I'm very glad both work well!

Holy this is cute and addicting, I think a cute backing song would add too!

Developer(+1)

Nice to hear it's cute! Thanks for trying it out

Very good idea, and It's really well polished. I hope see the mobile version.

Developer

Thank you! I'm trying to develop the mobile version!

Hey, thanks for checking out our game! I really enjoyed the aesthetic of your game. The jazzy music with the overall color scheme and mechanics of your game is so soothing. Once you start to get the hang of the game, you just want to keep playing and try to beat your previous score, it's very addictive haha.

Developer(+1)

😎 Thx for playing!

Very satisfying game! I really like how clean and juicy the UI is and its a very polished experience. The design is also really slick too, I like the idea of trying to reach the goal on certain tiles and planning around it. Nice job!

Developer

Appreciate the kind words!  I will keep refining!

WOW. Loved the aesthetic, the idea, the music... So simple yet so refined... 🥹 As someone who used to enjoy 2048 while commuting years back, this brought back such good memories. Great work on the game!!! It is really really my cup of tea.

Developer

Glad you like it!

All I can say is that I loved it and spent a lot of time playing! This is probably the first time I've experienced this kind of concept, and it's really fun!

Developer

Thanks!

I think this is the submission I have enjoyed the most so far. The aesthetics are beautiful and pleasant to look at, the subtle little animations and the UI fit together wonderfully. I can imagine this game as a fantastic mobile game for in between, with more gameplay elements and levels, and maybe even more color schemes representing different stages!

Truly a splendid submission.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your generous praise! I have indeed spent a lot of effort on aesthetics recently, and I am very happy with it works. By the way, the blocks do come in an orange color scheme now, but I casually set it to a size that's almost impossible to achieve lol.

Really well polished and could make for a relaxing puzzle game experience. One thing I might recommend is having consequences for hitting incorrect tiles as I felt I could just keep clicking aimlessly. Maybe I was being punished and not realizing, however something similar to minesweeper but not necessarily as punishing could help reduce the chance of players resorting to mindless clicking. Overall excellent!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your review! In fact, there is no penalty for incorrect clicks (nor should there be, as this does not align with the game's goal experience). In the game, feedback is provided to let players know that this is not the correct block and to encourage them to find the correct one. But as one player mentioned, I can prompt which blocks can be triggered after the player has not input for a period of time. And this would be an interesting improvement.
