Office life has never been more exciting

This was hell, well done. creative and the pixel art is very cute. It's repetitive obviously, but that's the point. I broke out after 8 or 9 years lol.

You might enjoy our sci-fi spin on the corpo hell theme :p

Your game felt so polished and well executed! It's gonna motivate me to polish my game more before I submit next time haha.
9 years is impressive. I'm probably gonna need to adjust the balancing and difficulty after the jam is done.

lol yours felt way more polished to me than ours, we pulled an all nighter and it still feels like it's coming apart at the seams, your pixel art is so clean, no back view for the sprite would be my only criticism if I'm really picking at stuff, we have no decorations and our assets and perspectives are off :p

Developer

same lol at 4:30 in the morning I was like I can't do this anymore I'm about to throw up hahah. I just hoped there weren't any game breaking bugs.

I actually don't know anything about art my self, so the art is a pack I found online by LimeZu. It's crazy that y'all did everything yourselves and made such a complete product in the time constraint

As a certified corporate peon, I feel like you encapsulated my existential dread with painful accuracy. Nothing beats scrambling back and forth for crumbs at the end of each year while watching your dreams slip away unattended. Five stars, very refreshing 🚰

As a preliminary product, not bad at all.

Game logic is there. Work to survive as there's a cost of living, but the office sucks. Break out of the loop by becoming more efficient, which allows hustle on company's clock.

Graphics also reminds me of gamyboy Pokemon, nostalgia.

Game cannot be beat just laying back brain dead, it's quite intense and need strategizing.

Developer

Thank you. I was worried that it might be too much math for people lol

hmm okay. so there is a lot of things to say here but ill just be more focused on the keypoints.
a lot of the ui just stayed stuck. It was made in godot so i felt it kinda lazy using limezu art and not using the running animations with it. simple line of code to play.animation("run") could have gone more of a polished way here. People that say nice game are fake af. Just polish it up more post jam and I will play again and give more honest feedback.

Very good idea, though I can't quite critique it as I dont' know what's a game design flaw and what's social comentary.

Developer

Haha thanks for playing! I didn't have time to polish the gameplay, so there's probably a decent number of balancing issues and other flaws in there.

Very nice!

Developer

Thank you! I submitted it in a fugue state early in the morning without proper play testing, so I'm glad that it's not totally broken haha
