Instruction = Hold shift and press M to open Music Staff, keep holding down shift, and press Q up to 4 times, and press M again while holding down the shift button, this will help you acquire movements like jump and moving right.
I love music based games and was really excited to see how composing your own song would factor into this game, but unfortunately, I couldn't get anywhere due to being unable to walk right. Unfortunately Nandini, I can't really recommend anything related to programming since I have no idea what the code looks like, making me unable to pinpoint why I wouldn't be able to walk right. All I can say is, keep at it and you'll get to where you want to be! Congrats on your very first game jam! (Coming from a first timer as well)

The music staff is where you earn new abilities which helps you defeat the boss
Gotcha. Is there anything within the game that would've given you this information? It was just a little strange because the game allowed you to move left, but not right, so it was just a tad confusing.
So the issue was that we put the instructions in the tutorial, but didn't realize it didn't make any sense, by the time we realized, it was too late to change. Sorry for the inconvenience

Hi everyone, I am one of the programmers on this project, and this was my first time coding a game and also my very first game jam!
