How does your game fit the theme?
Because it's a puzzle platformer where the player "loops" through the same level over and over while avoiding blocking his path for the next loops

What can be better than Oruborous games?
Nice game I like the mechanic in general; to consider your future loops while doing current loop.
Level art Looks great and movement felt smooth.
Level designs were simple but still interesting and i need to really figure out things to pass the levels. Overall good work!
I feel so dumb, I was really struggling and got completely stuck on level 4 thinking the last crumble jump was impossible... until I remembered that you could sprint >.<. When using sprint things became way more enjoyable, although still quite hard. This game is very punishing - making one small mistake requires you to reset yourself and redo the level, which is exacerbated by the trial and error needed to progress some sections. It would be nice if there was a keybind to restart instead of having to jump in some spikes or click the top left button. A lot of polish has gone into various aspects like the visuals and effects. I absolutely love the block crumble particles, they're super satisfying. Some of the gems giving power ups for the next run was awesome and gave a nice variety to gameplay. The story/cutscene at the start was cool. Great work!
Thank you so much for your feedback, and yes I'll try to implement this keybind feature and try to make the game a bit less punishing. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and the fact that you managed to master the controls after remembering the fact you can sprint. This is a good indicator. Once again thank you so much for playing the game and for your kind words ✨
Pretty cool game and loved the music! It felt a little bit repetitive at times but thats just the nature of this jam lol
The visuals are simply great, but the movement is a bit frustrating (the jump feels weird going so high and I would like to sprint jump). Even so, I think there's potential. Congrats on accomplishing so much in such short time 👍
Looks pretty cool, would like a little more control over the jump but overall great job! :)
A puzzle platformer where the challenge comes in the form of routing is an interesting idea, it's very much the most extreme form of "losing = learning" in that sense. This was quite enjoyable!
Very well made, very high quality! Great artwork, fitting music. I'm personally not crazy about the artstyle, but that's genuinely a personal preference not a critique on the style itself. I am by no means a good platformer or puzzle gamer, so even level 2 was frustrating enough for me to give up, but that hasn't effected my rating of the quality of this game. I'm sure most other games had no trouble with it. The hardest thing about this loop theme is that it sort of carries an "unforgiving" consequence when applied to games that can be hard for thin-skinned gamers such as myself, but I still think you hit the mark in so many places. Great work!
Cool take on the theme!
I really enjoy the artwork and audio of the game.
You executed the idea very well.
Good job! :D
Cool theme. I kinda wish there was a way to choose whether you restart the entire level or just the current loop, since there is already a lot of repeating what you have already done.
Great game! A lot of content for a jam game, the art is good as well as the music. Maybe the movement is a bit too fast/jumps too high, but that's just a nitpick. Very good work!
Great game, loved the starting cutscene! I think slowing down the "jumping up" phase of the jump would give sligtly more control while keeping the same falling speed. I love the concept of going through a level but having to keep in mind what to touch/do otherwise I might not be able to progress, but resetting the whole level is a tad too harsh, I think resetting to the current loop would work better. Great amount of polish, the art is really good. Amazing work!
Thank you so much for your feedback, Slowing down the jumping up phase could actually work, and maybe I could make the resetting the current loop and easy difficulty then having the normal gameplay as a harder difficulty. But once again thank you so much for playing the game I really appreciate it 🙌
Very polished entry, it feels like a complete game!
Giving a bit more control mid-air, like slowing the fall speed might help the learning curve.
Nice work!
Extremely lovely stuff, the overall graphics, art and polish looks much more than jam gam, only nitpick i has with the jump height and speed being a little to high, regardless, amazing stuff may I know how long did it take u to do the art, its really amazing
I'm really glad you liked the game, And yes I'll try to improve the physics in the future.
And If your asking about the art, I'm not the one who actually drew it. Most of the drawings (like 90%. I only did some simple drawings) were created by my teammate Haneen. She was the artist who drew these sprites starting from the character design to the tileset. And all of them were created during the 96 hour-period of the jam.
Thank you so much for playing the game :D
I loved the atmosphere of your game and the narrative style you chose for it! I was immersed from the very beginning. Awesome job with those shaky written dialogues and the music! This could turn into an awesome puzzle platformer with a cool narrative if you polish the physics and the jumping mechanics, as well as the difficulty curve. I feel like the game got a bit too hard too soon, but that doesn't take away anything from all the other amazing aspects in it! <3
Really cool game! The art looks really nice, but I had some problems with the jump. It was a bit too fast for me, so I died a lot (but I'm not very good at platforming, so that might just be my problem)😅
Struggled a bit with level 3, I didn't realise I could jump up to the ledge on the right! After that, the door was wide open for more interesting ways of using the loop mechanic. The idea of your actions becoming new obstacles in future loops is very cool!
I hope you also try out and rate my entry!
