How does your game fit the theme?
The progression system within the game features a looping element in which the player character is stuck in a room and the same level loops as time passes by for our character -- only the level itself becomes more aged and overgrown with the passage of time.

When the character screamed "Oh my god" I was really scared. 10 jump scares out of 10
Cool shooter, I like it!
I like the theme interpretation! I wonder if there’s a way you could lean into the passage of time more? Like maybe we see the walls crack and collapse as time passes, or the skeletons turn into piles of bones and then disappear.
The atmoshere is really climatic, I really like the art. I wish the gun had a higher range though. Also getting defeated jumpscared me lmao.
cool game things I noticed: enemy ai(i'm sure u know it already) they get stuck on walls try to look in to breadcrums technique, other things buttons on menu and title maybe in other font? or some visual ditinction. and ofc the game is kind the same other map? other weapon? but yeah maybe its also just lack of time ik its a game jam, so there is only so much time. otherwise i thought cool little game.:) keep it up!
thematically its interesting but the gameplay can get pretty repetitive
A very enjoyable and atmospheric game! nice shooting and a really interesting concept. The developer did a great job!
It's a pity that after 10 years the game breaks (web version), so we couldn't go any further.
I will be very glad, if you rate our game too!
I had massive lags when the enemies or the player dies and those particles spawned. Other than that, loved the art style, the music, the sound effects.
The game looks great and aging room is nice detail, but its too difficult and in quite a boring way. The game throws at you 100 enemies at once, blocking every escape path. I would say either upgrading player or having less enemies would be better, still though good job. :)
The moss growing more and more as the years go on is a great detail. I didn't manage to get further than 25 years, although I gave it plenty of good tries. The grey enemies blend to the dark background making them a bit hard to see. I had some success trying to get the enemy hordes stuck behind corners, but it wasn't enough to get me through the level.
There seemed to be a slight performance problem, as the game froze for a couple of seconds whenever loading a new effect for the first time (first time I shot, first time enemy died, first time I got hit), but luckily it didn't happen more than once each.
Congrats on making a fun game in such a short time!
Yeah, unfortunately we realized the performance issue with the particles a bit too late to fix it. There seems to be a slight issue with the first load of each particle that we might've been able to resolve had we preloaded all of them on launch. Also, we absolutely agree that the difficulty scaling on the levels was a bit too exponential and we realize the game gets a bit unfair towards the last few levels due to the sheer quantity of enemies and difficulty to view them. Nonetheless, thank you so much for giving it a try!
OH MY GOD! Very nice one :3
I died after fighting 25 years🎖️🪖
Lmao fun death sound. Overall fun game!
Thank you so much for playing!
Seems like a pretty solid core concept, and the basics were well execute. Gotta say that the death sound threw me :D
Thank you so much for playing! Yeah, the death sound is certainly a bit jarring, but we thought it was a pretty funny addition.
