play my game Loop Track!!! Please, Back to the game I like the game, but it I feel doesn’t match this year’s theme

Developer

Hey! Loop Track’s page looks awesome, and I’d love to check it out!

Just a heads-up—advertising your game in other devs’ threads can sometimes come across the wrong way or feel a bit off. I know that wasn’t your intention though.

Good luck with the jam!

Thanks for the gentle reminder!

I have absolutely no intention of promoting – I just actually played this game and felt it was a bit far from the “promise” theme this year, so I wanted to give my honest opinion.

I’ll also leave my game name below, not to attract players – I just want those who are curious to try it. If there’s any misunderstanding, I apologize and will learn from my mistakes for the next time

I hope many people discover your game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback on my game! I can see how it might not fully fit the theme, I'll work on that one.

Just to clarify, my issue wasn't with the feedback. In my opinion, honest opinions are the most useful type of opinions. It was more about how you led with "Play my game" before engaging with mine.

The ordering of the comment just felt off, nothing else really. Great job on your game again, hope it does well!

So that's why I always stub my toes at night.

I liked this one, yeah it's simple but given the time constraints you made a really appealing puzzle platformer. The 'i' changes the light in menu (yeah, I read the developer notes :D), a nice little creative touch, good job!

I’m glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for noticing the Easter egg, means a lot!

Rly cool game concept, feel like you could do a lot with this mechanic. Would love to see an expansion with more challenging puzzles. Very polished

Honestly I wish I could’ve done more too. I really enjoyed designing levels for this and want to continue making them. So happy you enjoyed what I had though!
